Title: Possible to create your own network of TOR relays?
Post by: mistercoin on October 12, 2014, 05:09:00 PM
Just had a thought. Is there any way you use TOR or other software, with JUST your own hosted nodes?

This could stop the issue of the National Subhuman Agency (NSA) and you could rest peacefully within your own domain.

I think it is possible, I don't see why it wouldn't be. If not TOR is there any other apps that can do the same?

You could, but what is the point? if they are your nodes and only you use them, then obviously whatever traffic comes from them is yours, thus you are not anonymous.

Plausible deniability. How would the feds or any others know that the nodes were mine? Even if they are, there is no way to prove it. All around the world, if this were the case then TOR users would all be incriminated since essentially that's all TOR does.
