Mods won't be able to offer you any help at all. anyway. The question is if you can prove [2] that said account is yours? Well if I wanted to nitpick Id say the address and the post should be part of the message. I read somewhere that theymos has a leaky queue when it comes to PMs. I am not 100% sure but IIRC he said to resend messages after a few days without answer. Maybe improve the message (include post and address in the message) and try again. This topic is also a good start IMHO as all the admins and mods seem to read everything in the meta section even though they do not reply every time. Other than that I can only imagine that you might have sold the account and it is not restored because of that. I am not accusing you here, its just that Ive seen it in the past and I can not rule it out. Admins have access to more data. If my investigation is not thorough, I could end up accidentally "recovering" an account by giving it to a thief. But I don't often have hours of spare time to devote to such things, so I end up doing only a few account recoveries per month, and many requests get ignored. (I choose recent requests that look straightforward. For any forum business, if I ignored your past requests, resend it every couple of weeks and make it more clear/straightforward.)" |
