I'm so sorry you were scammed out of your Bitcoin and your time, but I (and a lot of different people) warned everyone on the initial Midascoin thread that it was a very obvious scam.  I would suggest that in the future you do due diligence, and remember that if something sounds too good to be true it probably is.

Good luck.

yeah nobody could have known this.. lol.. its just the mentality of this shit scene., greedy pool ops hype scams, exchanges hype scams, greedy ico buyers hype it since they know they will just dump on the next suckers who get in after them, and not to mention the devs who are ready to dump on investors with their delusional idea's and promises.

its a bullshit idea anyway, why the hell would you invest in a coin which is "backed by gold" ?
why dont you buy actual gold yourself? and actually HOLD that gold, it was all just a big scam and lots of people saw this coming.

if you're reading this, fck you midas

Is there anything we can do about this?

If the dev TEAM is Id verified, then there must be something we can do.

There is so many scam on daily basis, this is because of unregulated market.
If we have regulated market then scam will be very less.

Who Id verified the dev team? There's not much point in their verification if the dev team can get away with scamming.

shame on you dev. Scams stealing money need to have their ringleaders arrested and thrown in jail.

Yes, it looks like its easy to scam from the UK because authorities over there endorse scammers by not entertaining any complaints.

All the scammers will take advantage of this and operate from UK now.

UK consumers beware

Call, email and tweet to any authority. Let them know about this fraud.

In a regulated market there is no free economy and enormous scams. There are altcoins which are printed out of thin air with 0% mining difficulty. ;)

Coins Source's NDA policy will not protect Guiseppe and is now voided under the circumstance of an authority agencies getting in contact with us about 5-days ago. With the voiding of the NDA agreement, the information held by us is now public knowledge, and we are able to release it under these extreme circumstances.

Since this was a very intricate and well-thought-out heist, we urge the community to please take caution when handling this situation and future situations that may occur.

Below is a zip file with the person who verified with Coins Source.
