Title: Anyone know jjjrmy or bitpay merchant solutions?
Post by: bg002h on May 18, 2012, 01:20:23 AM
Are these guys for real?

They've got an awesome idea for bitcoin gift cards, but the radio silence after accepting bitcoins and not shipping the cards is a little disconcerting.

I put 10 BTC in, so it's not a big deal to me if it's a scam. Just a shame (and such a great idea gone to waste!). Anyone else in this situation?

They are definitely real and legit, they forked up good money for their own booth at the CES in Las Vegas this year.  They have been working on these cards for quite a while now.

The models in their images are their real acquaintances and/or employees as well, not clip art.

That's good to hear. I think their idea will really help the bitcoin community spread. The expiring bitcoin card is brilliant.

I'll just have to be patient. I have no problem with that. Revolutionary ideas take time :)

I would personally vouch for both jjjrmy and bit-pay merchant solutions.

I have met these guys in person and we meetup regularly to buy burgers and beers with bitcoins.

They both sound great, but I'm also interested in whatever happened to the cards. Lost in the mail?
