Opal Team are holding a banner & flyer contest.
There is no specific message we are intending to get across - although feel free to include any of our copy/marketing content from our website and BCT thread.


It will run for a week the conditions are as follows:


No limits to submissions
You are permitted to use existing Opal content or create new original content
Submissions will be voted by the team and announced at the end of the week (Wednesday 22nd October)
The winner will receive .05 BTC or equal value of Opal at your request
Opal Team is running this contest to build community support and awareness

It was due to end today. However, we've had some PMs from a few people who have said they want to enter so we are going to extend the contest by a few days. We will end this Sunday, so Monday morning we will announce the winner. We've not had as many entries as we'd hoped for so if you still want to submit something, please do!

You used AE right? can you PM me your output settings and how you got it into a gif? been trying to post mine and the size is too big

I export it as an avi with RGB + Alpha and then convert it to a GIF in photoshop.

Has the winner been decided yet?

We are still judging the entries and coming to a consensus.  There are so many quality entries that it's extremely difficult to chose just one.

Well, I suppose it's better than deciding whether to give out the bounty because the entries are not good enough.  :)

Or... Give every submission btc.

It's been three days after extending the original deadline. Is it so hard to pick a winner from the few entries or is Opal having trouble paying the 0.05BTC prize?

opal give most 1 btc away on irc chat! i cant think is a trouble for them i say to them on irc choose winner. ;D
