Title: Coinbase transactions...? Post by: DiamondCardz on October 15, 2014, 09:01:52 PM When a merchant online uses Coinbase Merchant Tools, what happens if someone sends a transaction to that merchant (who receives it via Coinbase) but the address that Coinbase gives that person to send to changes before the transaction actually confirms? Because I was stuck in that unlucky situation and after about 20 minutes and the address on the pop-up window having changed twice, I checked the transaction and it had 2 confirmations...but there was nothing. Went back to the site and attempted to return to merchant and promptly found that the transaction hadn't been processed. So now I'm in a shitty situation.

Edit: Just found this: https://support.coinbase.com/customer/portal/articles/1544747 Sigh. That's annoying that you have to scour through their support to find that out. Guess I need to contact the merchant now. |
