There are many people including myself who need help getting our funds off of mintpal due to them not having a place to input payment ID. The link above is me asking for help creating a linux wallet. This is a new thread because it's urgent. Am offering 25xmr for help. Please help your fellow XMR holders get their coins back!

Let people know if you run into any problems.

Yes, im using both of those guides and still having issues.

-First I went here: https://github.com/Quanttek/install_monero and ran the first line in terminal

-Then after installing I get this error:
Found libunbound includes, but could not find libunbound library.
Please make sure you have installed libunbound or libunbound-dev or the
  equivalent

-Also this directory is not found when trying to create wallet using this command: cd ~/bitmonero/build/release/src && ./simplewallet --generate-new-wallet wallet.bin
