This can run either a high pressure sodium or metal halide bulb of 600 watts at either 600, 450, or 300 watts. Can be powered from either 120vac or 240vac, auto switching. I've used several of these ballasts myself and they are fantastic. Bulbs last much longer due to soft-start.

NIB = new in box United States Fully wired with cords for 120 and 240, and yes they have the socket.
