The Withd*cough cough* are still down despite what was told earlier.

By the way, i noticed that all my posts there are invisible for all users but me, is that a shadowban?

Its odd, i didnt posted nothing offensive, i got good reputation and rarelly get downvotes.

I think some reseller(s) screwed them with activation codes and they´re trying to work that out. I doubt it´s huge, at least I hope it isn´t.

zencloud is completelly buggy, i just found something there im not going to divulge here and report to gaw, its serious lol.

Really? I don´t see anything unusual there except they´ve taken the zens off the hash market, presumably because they´re investigating the activation key issue.

You dont need to be offensive or disrespectful to get a ban. You just need to have an opinion that the almighty gaw_ceo happens to disagree with.

The whole things a clusterfuck.

ZenClouders,

As part of our latest security upgrades, we're implementing new logic to detect unusual withdrawal activity on user accounts. From this point on, certain withdrawals will enter a manual review process to further protect our users accounts from unauthorized use.

Transactions affected by this are those that are larger than a certain threshold as well as transactions occurring more frequently than typically seen in normal activity.

The delay on these transactions should not be more than a few hours depending on the nature of the activity. If suspicious activity is detected, a staff member may contact you to make sure the activity is legitimate.

_______________________________

And if i was banned well, i didn't noticed it, didnt got notified, nothing! and im the regular gaw fanboi that usually supports them, i did make some critical remarks when the withdrawals stopped, because hey! im a customer, i have rights, and have the right to demonstrate if im unhappy, no service improves if customers dont demonstrate their feedback negative or positive, so i was posting for 2 days and i was banned and never noticed, all my posts were invisible

I guess this is in the public domain and may be posted here. What I got at ZC:

So show us some of your non-offensive post that got you banned. It's rare to see a banned person not try to play innocent.

Oh I just disagreed with them and they banned me! :'(

Yeah, right...

I remember your nick but not any specifics so I guess you weren´t in a special baddie class as far as I´m concerned. But it takes a lot to upset me and the debate there can be quite heated. Accusations, conspiracies and all.

Yeah, right...

I hope this satisfies your curiosity..

I was just on the forum now and noticed user 'KC6TTR' was banned, after reading a quite interesting & intelligent post he made 2 mths ago regards the paypal agreement. His post is here https://hashtalk.org/topic/8989/paypal-s-latest-move-to-crew-the-seller-while-preparing-for-btc-et-al-integration

Digging a bit further, I checked his profile to see he had a healthy 684 reputation (not a bad member at all imo & probably a member for some months).

Here's his last post https://hashtalk.org/topic/12038/the-light-is-near/44 and it is a post in response to user 'vancefox's' reply to the almighty GAW's post (entitled 'Theres light at the end of the tunnel') in which vancefox comments 'Would be something good to mention during an announcement or something like that…' (which is a fair enough comment), to which KC6TTR harmlessly replies "You didn’t get the memo?? it’s OK, none of us did" for which (as this is his last post) he is banned.

Again, the almighty gaw_ceo's claim that you will only be banned for being disrespectful is pure bs. Its a case of whether he agrees with your opinion or takes a personal disliking to your post that determines whether your banned or not. This is a perfect example of how easily you can lose your account. Having posted this same response in the main GAW thread only 24 hours ago, I notice a number of users have suddenly been un-banned today. Coincidence? I think not....its simply gaw_ceo playing smoke & mirrors, much like he is currently doing with his diminishing payout rates on zencloud. Get out now while you can and get into LTC Gear for 4 x the return. The link is in my sig...

It's all nice and sweet the way you describe it, but here's the thing.
If he made offensive posts they were probably deleted, so we can't see them in his profile and usually a person isn't banned for 1 post but his overal behavior.

Don't forget it's their forum and you have to accept the rules. They can ban as they please and you coming here and complaining about someone else being banned on a private forum is the "pure bs" as you described it.

Whats your username on hashtalk.org? I'm curious to see some of your posts there. I suspect your one of his groupies.

As regards your 'claim' they ban for overall behaviour, and that that users offensive post was deleted is pure bs and you know it. There was nothing deleted - he was banned for that simple comment I quoted above. Another example is user 'Daffy' who was banned recently. He's a model Gaw member yet he was banned over 1 post as I recall it. Go spout your crap elsewhere. Your talking nonsense.

I thought the only person we were talking about here was KC6TTR, and I'm not his groupie. You attacking me personally, after I said that he deserved the ban, only proves that you don't have anything to say in the subject.

If you get banned, there are steps you can take to be unbanned. You can contact a moderator and clear things with him. If daffy was banned by mistake, he did that and got unbanned.
As I said it's a private forum and GAW is a private company, nobody forces you to register there and write. You're acting like this is the first ban in your life.

Daffy was not banned by mistake. He was banned intentionally. The community got behind him and pleaded for him to be unbanned which he was subsequently.

As regards it being a private forum and they can make their own rules, sure they can. However, because of this, only positive posts are viewable on their site, which is misleading. Any newbie entering the forum only sees the one-sided fanaticism & not the true picture, and this is obviously how Josh wants it viewed as he created the rules.

So my issue is not with being banned. I personally couldn't care less. I have better things to do than waste my time on a rock band fan site. My issue is with the way GAW is doing business and with the false image they are trying to portray by moderating what people can & cant say to give a false impression. This is bad business ethics, and just as I would never frequent a store again that treated me poorly, not only would I never return there again, but I would let everyone know about their poor business practices, as I'm more than happy to do here in this case.

How do you know he was banned intentionally? Did you speak with the moderator who baned him? Do you even know which one was it?
They are just people and people make mistakes, while all you're doing now is pointing it out.

Posts aren't only positive or negative! If you see the whole forum as only flattering, it's your problem. Constructive criticism is allowed, bashing and flaming is not.
Looks like in your view everyone who likes hashtalk is a fanatic and every user banned there was a nice person, who just didn't like Josh.

Well, I´m out. Fortunately about even.

I seriously doubt that this Josh guy is
playing with a full deck. Clearly his rich
pals are sitting with hundreds of thousands
if not millions in this Prime Crap and
desperately need to dump that on the
masses.

Best of luck, g
