i want to buy a smartphone but in confusion between this two brand can you guys pick two best model.....

i want to play so many games want to use net all day  now i am using iphone 4 but having problem on battery...

Samsung is the best device it's much more customizable and it offers so many more features.

Samsung vs iPhone is the same as Android vs iOS. And it's not a simple question to answer

Android gets my vote, but if your primary use is gaming I think iOS is still ahead of Android in that department.

My vote is for Samsung. I don't like Apple products, they seem to not go that well in my hands.

I don't think so. Androids have far more game library and is more open for normal users as they don't have to jailbreak to install their own apps. Also, Android phones typically have much more ram space and new features. IPhone just change the CPU, screen size and OS for most of their new phone. Android have more competition between different brands. They have far more new features per new release of flag ship device. I personally prefer HTC  more due to their durability and build quality. You don't see much premium real metal feels with good camera. Samsung wins my votes in this comparison.

I prefer Samsung. It has Android and easy to use.

I used to have an  iPhone 4s, but now i have changed and i'm using a galaxy s5, and I think it's better (after the initial shock, of course).

Whatever, go for the big screen... It could seem unpractical, but it's a killer feature

Samsung is for those intelligent people and IPHONE is for those rich people who just want to have an expensive phone.

Samsung is better than IPHONE due to its features.

They both have their pros and cons, I will choose both!!

I have both but i ditched my 5s for android. Currently using HTC one M8.

Android is awesome os so any phone with the latest android software(Lollipop)is a good buy rest is up to you. ;)

Do you like your iphone? hardware improves as the newer models are released. sure we can knit pick this, but essentially with each release the device is better.

that said, use what you like. if you've never had an android based smartphone -- try one.

both are proven devices and both are great.

as long as you are not considering a windows phone or a blackberry (do they still exist?) you'll be fine.

just think about how you will be using it and what other devices you have around you. 

I would say use whatever is most familiar to you... I give my friend my samsung who has iphone and he can not navigate too well (or slowly) but if he gives me is iphone I am same way slow to navigate through it...

If you like freedom, android, if you like nice design but strict restrictions iPhone, it's that simple ;)

I'll voice this opinion loudly and clearly, anyone who would opt for iPhone instead of a Samsung/Sony/etc device (high-end) is not really a smart person.
If you're buying a phone because of the way that it looks or because of the brand (only), then you're an idiot.  :)

Obviously I'd say Samsung here, but they could have worked harder and better on the S5 before releasing it.

Never buy anything from Apple. Period. Their devices are overpriced. They think that all people are morons. Their followers are worse than any religious cult. Just buy anything but Apple, you will be better that way. Unless you want to show your iPhone to your hipster friends.

This is not the Windows vs Apple argument.

Both Android and IOS have their place in the world. Both have their pros and their cons and both are necessary.

I own both use both and love both.

I am an absolute lover of both Apple and Google products and am in a very fortunate position to own both companies product.


The bottomline is this:  WE NEED BOTH COMPANIES! Without this competition there is no progress.

Furthermore --- and in relation to this forum: Neither company is doing anything about the progression of Bitcoin.
Now this a great argument to have!

Free to do whatever you want? I think you refer to jailbreaking, which Apple has filed many lawsuits against. In the USA you have no guarantee when you jailbreak your iphone, yeah free to do whatever you want.......
In holland the judge laughed in Apples face and ordered them to give guarantee, o well, USA is Corporations, so I guess you're free....

When you say we need them both, I couldn't disagree more :) Corporations like Apple are pervers and are hypercapitalistic, creating even more inequality in the world. Research who made the first touchscreen phone in 2002.....

I really like my iphone, but thinking about changing to the galaxy alpha.

I work with and personally own both. Rotate between an iPhone 5s, Samsung S5, Galaxy Note 3, and another Samsung device strictly for development.

Personally, prefer using the iPhone as my "mission critical" primary device, and use my Samsungs as a backup/dev/work/tinkering device.

Prefer web browsing on my Note 3 for to the larger display, using the pen for finer navigation.

iphone only because the resell value is a lot higher lol.

Well Samsung... Same thing but you pay $500 or so for the brand when you pick Iphone. I have never nor will I ever buy an apple product because you pay 100% extra for the brand.

I've used both iphone and samsung galaxy. Currently have iphone4s , don't have a need to change to iphone 6 , cuz it seems that this time they screwed up big time, apple shot itself in the leg.

Samsung S5 without a doubt.  I've been a Samsung fan since the S3, and will always be loyal to them.  Love the operating system better than Apple's.  I have an S5, and my wife has an IPhone 6.  I hate her phone.....

If you have to choose between these two, take Samsung. But in my opinion LG, Meizu, Motorola etc are more worth it.

In my opinion I like the samsung better!

The Samsung Galaxy S Series has more technological features than the iPhone and that isn't opinion.

Some people like the iPhone better because of the user interface and that is opinion.

I would suggest you to buy samsung for some reasons. both operating systems are equally good but the advantage in android is u can have open source applications which unfortunately IOS doesn't allows u. IOS is restricted or bounded in some manners and the battery time of samsung is way better than the iphone

With many android remote administration tools and malware, Id go for teh iPhone 6 because I can use blockchain without worrying.  :)

Iphone is too expensive for me, I like samsung more for all daily usage :)

You have to pay $800 to be able to develop apps for iOS, that's why the apps are like a hundred bucks each

if it is between the two go with the iPhone 6, if you want other choices, I suggest you to look at the HTC M8 one of the best phone ever, LG G3 is also a good choice and prices are droping, as for samsung, you can go with the Note4 or Edge but the S5 I don't recommend it in comparison to the phones mentioned above

I have an HTC One M8 personally. Has been a blast to use so far and has a really really good low light camera. Not a big fan of Apple or the Iphones but I played around with a friend's 6+ for a bit and liked a camera a lot. Gotta give it to the for making a good camera phone despite the inferior overall specs compared to Android smartphones.

depends on your budget, if you have a specific preference to one of the OS they use. the devices themselves are similar in many of the important aspects imo.

Both are great devices, but I vote  for the iPhone 6.  I've tried both.

Why? The individual specs of a S5 look better. However, in the end it is the software ánd the hardware (thus the combination) which decides the performance of the Phone. Obviously the iPhone is the winner here :)

I've had a iPhone 5 before too for about 2 years. It was my best Phone untill now.

Android > iOS
Linux > Win > OS X. For those who state otherwise, they are just the average Joe with no knowledge whatsoever.

Meh. It's all personal preference, that's what it comes down to in the end. I personally love Apple and I can't stand the Samsung, but I know there are people who think otherwise.

Saying that the iPhone is the obvious winner is not the 'I like this phone/OS' story. People need to clearly state what they mean.
What I wrote down is not my personal preference, it's based on facts. I even like some things found on iOS (keyboard anyone?).

Comparing Apple vs Samsung is wrong. Comparing iOS to Android is right (or iPhone vs Android phones).

Me too. And the thing I especially like is the stability. Android devices will crash more often than Apple devices. Untill I updated my iPhone 5 to iOS 8 I haven't experienced any trouble, now sometimes some apps close suddently because they're not ready for iOS 8 yet, but that's very rare.

I've had Android devices before I bought an iPhone, and now I will not switch again to Android anymore. Its simplicity is great, and what I especially like is thus the stability. It will Always work like you want (and won't leave you in the dark).

iPhone. Has a much better look + feel and you will get more money once you sell it in a year or two.
