Why do people do anything that costs time and could fail?
Sorry, but that is a stupid question.

You could of probably said the same thing about the first websites when HTML was invented.
What was the point of building them when most of the world didn't know about the internet?

Build and people will come.

Do not take risks. They only waste time when you could be sitting pretty on your government check.

Because they had creativity, they want to bring more people involve to bitcoin.

They are simply creating the necessary condition and infrastructure then wait for the big wave.

If everyone wait before the wave hit, bitcoin will never be as big as it is today.

Trying then failed is better than never.

Did you think how many people interest to btc before bubble at the end of 2013?

Maybe is investment in future?  How much does it cost you to add payments in BTC. I am sure are nto many basing only on bitcoins, but will be more and more every day.

You can't put things in so simple way, like black and white.
Old saying is that any advertising is good advertising, good or bad...
Also, when people notice a lot sites and articles about something, they will become more interesting, even f they was sceptic at the beginning.
I don't think that all this projects are wasting of time and energy.

I agree with the theory that if you build something that people will come. The issue with bitcoin however is that it is very difficulty to get people to trust you with your money which will hamper your ability to conduct business.

Why do entrepreneurs and venture capitalist bother starting up businesses when about 90% of businesses fail? Lets just be a stagnant community instead.

I wouldn't say that. At least in my country, many sites have gained a lot of users, and generated huge traffic.

Maybe they are making businesses before bitcoin will go mainstream? After it will be mainstream they will have already good position on the market.

If they fail, they've lost some time having fun with some coding.
If they didn't fail, they'll earn some easy extra money for quite some time.

So, really, why not?

And gained experience.  Coding is a doing sport.  You learn by building sites.

I don't think so. There are many good website attracting many people. The IT people are putting efforts to what they are doing and manage to be successful.

People don't waste their time. Every investment has a chance for a good return and there is every bit of opportunity to reap. Take example of bitcoin during the early stage. Most people might be thinking why waste time on something which has no value? Like myself, i actually heard of bitcoin much earlier but chose to ignore. Well, if a person don't think out of the box, he will just be any average person there is.

Without taking risk, we would be living a much worse life.

It's not a demand NOW, in the future who knows? Thats why you register and make good sites now, before the crypto craze starts and everyone wants to get in.
