Title: PRC Signature Campaign - Another one of Dean's Unprofessional Behaviour
Post by: finnile on October 19, 2014, 07:48:03 PM
I would like to point out another injustice and wrong behavior shown my the owner of PRCdice. He launched a sig campaign last week for PRC.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=820234.0

50 members were enrolled. But only around 20 were paid.
Why? Because users were not able to make the 25 posts required.

Only around 20 were paid, because of very strict rules.
However, it seems Dean does not follow what he says.

Here are 2 of the Rules:

Rule 3: Must post a minimum of 25 posts per week to qualify for payment.

and

For a post to count:
Not be in signature campaign threads, including this one or in offtopic.

However, one user Joe Mattie (AKCoinMiner) , who is a high roller at PRC and other sites, was paid even though he did not complete 25 posts.
His post to enroll: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=820234.msg9166687#msg9166687
And till now he has made only 24 posts, and was still paid.

Why? Because Dean loves ass licking people who might get him business. Is ass licking wrong? No, but it is definitely wrong to pay him, and not pay others.

Just posting here, as the signature campaign thread is moderated, and will ultimately be deleted. Good luck to those who participated and didn't get paid.

I offered to be his PR manager and he refused. I firmly believe all this fuss about his incompetence with public relations could have been avoided.

I'm disappointed to hear about this.

Finnile, nice try. I ran my campaign like this, by giving out half-pays, etc. to non-Engslish posters and spammers. It's only fair.

Stop being a bitch and grow up.

Can you tell me whats wrong with what I posted ?
he just paid a guy for the signature campaign because, he was a high roller.  Mind your own campaign, unless you were hired by Dean to do PR work for him.

I made more than 25 posts for the week and I still didn't get paid. Nor was the reason given..so I removed the Signature and am out of the campaign.

I was a few posts short however I did still advertise for his website the entire week. I feel like he should have made a partial payment for people who made a majority of the necessary posts but did not reach the min as he did still receive a service and benefit from my signature.

The rules say "Not be in signature campaign threads, including this one or in offtopic."

If I count your posts (and everyone can (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=366744;sa=showPosts;start=0)) I see 20 qualifying posts. And then I include the pretty worthless posts in "games&rounds" promotion threads, "Beginners & Help" off-topic-like threads and "altcoin" shitcoin threads. Without those it's probably like 5-10 posts. Obviously you didn't qualify.

Well, sorry to say.. but the rules were very clear :P No rollover & no payment - when the requirements were not met. You had 16 posts so not enough for the required 25 posts.

I am actually a Hero member here and as many know a "PRC regular". Dean actually expected me to join the signature campaign, but I didn't. Why? Because I do agree with you that 25 posts per week are just a bit too much. However, IMO the rules were clear and based on the rules I decided not to join. Pretty easy :) Everyone who thinks the rules work for them, can still join :) I didn't expect partial payments since the rules are very clear. It's your own decision to still join it.

JoeMattie made 24 posts ALL in GAMBLING forum. So highly on-topic, no promotion/beginners-offtopic/shitcoin things like Jybrael. So did Dean pay the person 0.0125 BTC who wagerered ~65.000 BTC on his website despite missing a single post? Of course he did lol - seems pretty obvious to me.

why do you join this campaign? 0.1 per 100 posts, 0.001 btc/post, it is just general pay rate, some sites offer higher than it. Choose those.

This is true & very logical things.

JoeMattie is an expected customer that PRC were looking for.

Hope everyone understand this

You posted relatively many posts after the payment of yesterday.

You actually had only 7 qualifying posts (+4 in offtopic and other signature campaign topics.)

The good news is that you should have ~13 posts for this second week already (I assume he will allow you to rejoin - and, since you didn't change your signature, posts after the first payment should count IMO.)

I made more than 25 posts, few in english and the rest on threads like exchange, analysis, trading and other projects in my language. I got paid. Then, I asked to be removed because I couldn't guarantee the threshold of 25 posts in english. But I want to remember, I got paid. That's all. Just my experience ;)
