With Paypal, you always have the worry of a charge back. Friends and Family won't save your bacon.

if you are sending money to a friend or family option, you will not pay fee and PayPal is not responsible if seller scamed you. I have experienced the same.

You can still open an unauthorized transaction claim, or send the funds from a stolen paypal.

No, you are wrong. Why do you think people avoid Paypal like the plague? Toss in a stolen/hacked account and or credit card and a "fraud" accusation and Paypal will issue a charge back.

I do not think so

Example: If a stolen credit card was used, the actual owner reports this and they charge back to Paypal. Paypal will NOT lose money so they pass it on to the scammed person. You are better off using another form of payment. Too many have been scammed with Paypal and credit cards.
