So here is poll i thought of to lighten things up a bit and see what you all think :)

I am curious who you all would rank as most well known in the Altcoin scene in general.
And that would include this forum and other sites and exchanges etc.

So i will just throw a few names into the poll and then try and check back and add any new Name suggestions you guys have.

Who will be crowned Altcoin King ?

Also i want to say i will only consider a user that has substantial involvement in Altcoins.
So guys that are famous *mostly in Bitcoin only circles do NOT apply to the Poll i think.

the shell account syndrome here on this forum is like no other place i have ever seen !

makes me think of something i seen one of the Mods here say once before..
he said, "if you have something controversial to say then create a new account"

it was said on one of the many topics where we users were asking for a rule to limit account creation especially from coin cloners.
the mods rejected the idea outright and on the contrary advised making more accounts.. for the reason i just quoted.
and what i thought was, did he mean like how that guy created an account and posted info on HYP the other day ?
or did he mean as way for a notorious mass coin cloner to see something said and quickly go run and make a bunch account(s)

i was floored, i said.. i can't believe you actually said that (no surprise Cryptsy is legendary for that too)

to stop anything remotely negative about their precious little scam baby HYP coin LOL
then he sat back and let these assholes gang up on me and troll the fuck out of me and then said, i had it coming !

i logged the fuck out of it.. you screwed up Poloniex big time.

Mods all over the scene are scam police goon squads mostly hanging around to remove the turd form the punch bowl.

spam the living shit out of that troll box on Poloniex 24/7 about HYP like irritating assholes and they are blown hard by mods..
i show up and ask a few questions and suggest they tone it down (for a rational and logical reason) and i get 6 warnings and 2 bans this week. LOL

Iconic Expert is a P&D strategist with a strong group behind him. He made a few whales really fat.
He was behind some of the most incredible price jumps on the scene, most notably Black Coin - although, that relationship ended in flames in the wake of the supposed Wall Street event.
AFAIK, he was last seen working with MsCollec and his Chinese coins.
I am told he is using a new alt here now, but I can't tell if that's him.

Now, Spoetnik, I want to focus this discussion on BobSurpluss.
I've heard numerous stories of the man - some good, most bad.
The good ones make him sound like an influential, badass crypto cowboy that knows the ins and outs of every facet of the crypto scene.
The bad ones make him sound like a scam artist extraordinaire.
I am, however, most intrigued by two aspects of his legend.

(i) Is he behind Coin Source?
(ii) Does he manage a crypto team in a boiler room in downtown New York that churns out coins at regular intervals?

If anyone has first hand knowledge of this, I am all ears. PMs are welcomed too.

My vote is a toss up between BitcoinXpress, Spoetnik and igotspots because you guys keep this place interesting. If talking about technical prowess then the top is Sunny King followed by Tranz and then Mullick.

Spoetnik, Wolong is a pimply boy who rode on the coattails of the Dogecoin Olympic bobsled promo and claimed credit for the resulting price spike.
After proclaiming himself as some sort of a crypto savant, he released a badly-written trading ebook (it's only several pages - enovellette?) that some developers here, shockingly, took as gospel.
I remember the Uro dev reverently talking about the ebook in one of his hangouts. The phrase "weak hands" that is used by many wannabe-traders originated from that ebook.

Wolong was courted by several devs thereafter, but he joined forces with the UNO dev (not Uro) to release Panda after being promised a lucrative cut, including custody of a huge stash of premine and IPO proceeds. After telling everyone to hold, Wolong preceded to sell off the entire stash and crash the market to a few satoshis. He then accused everyone and everything including the kitchen sink of starting the sell off and rode of with a couple hundred BTCs in his pocket. I still don't know though if the UNO dev was part of the scam, or just another victim. Last I heard, a couple of Panda investors actually managed to track Wolong down via hardwarezone.com.sg and received a settlement. Can't confirm it though.

Despite this, people are still clamoring to work with Wolong. Hi-5 coin, anyone?

Re Fontas: He also works with Wolong. He and Molly suffered huge losses in the Panda scam, but I think Wolong covered his losses at least.


iGotSpots was diagnosed with crypto-finger, a dangerous condition caused mainly by releasing too many coins into the crypto wildlands of Cryptsy.
Doctors have pleaded for him to stop releasing new coins.
But like a crack addict, iGotSpots can't help it; he haz to release a newz coinz every so often.

i think because i am sure he has other VERY well known aliases..
i have at times suspected he is Shakezulu who is always in hiding while tranz is not..
i could be way off on that but it makes the point that a bunch of these guys have multiple well known accounts..

so it's impossible for that guy to try and claim that term LOL
..don't believe me ask anyone that had used either BTC-e's Troll box or Cryptsy's box mid last year they will all tell you they heard it said a LOT !
so if that douche was actually trying to take credit for it it shows how much of a loser nobody he REALLY is LOL

I don't do gimmicky. Every project I launch has a point. Some are successful, some are not

Anything I can't personally do has someone in my rolodex that can. Fees are pretty straightforward unless you try to get fancy

No better place to live, was better when I was a kid cause they had flintstones park, wild waters and the roller rink (bulldozed for a cineplex), Wild and wet, miniput, and old mcdonalds farm (bulldozed for condos), butterfly world (bulldozed) but atleast Scandia is still there and I think they recently finished a giant wave pool where you could go surfing. Maybe it would be better to swim in the lake in the summer or snowboard at Big White/Silverstar in the winter and build snowmen. If you are ever in the area you should definitely try the Icewine, they pick the grapes just after the first frost and juice them while they are still frozen so it captures more of the sugars.
