Post by: pawel7777 on October 21, 2014, 10:45:27 AM
Don't know what happen but this Anoncoin pump looks impressive. Don't think it will stay at 2nd for more than 1 hour.

It's not a pump. Its an error with the data CMC is being fed.

So you're saying I shouldn't have invested all my savings in ANC?  :)

Probably not an 'error' per se, more like someone bought a small amount at ridiculous price at one of the exchanges, so it's rather flawed method of collecting data by CMC.

Shows how 'valuable' market cap stats can be.

Anoncoin is dead. I also sold mines, constant stupid delays by Gnosis about the zerocoin implementation has led me to believe(I mean he says it's coming on the 15th, then all of a sudden says he needs 3 months extra!!?? Well now we all know he didn't do jack shit.) that it is never going to be implemented, it was all pump and dump. Shame.

Heh - that's a bold move if you did! Market cap stats are indeed a powerful tool :)

ANC back where it belongs, at 52nd place.

Nothing to see here. Moving on.

It was an error in the way it captures the cap value.  8)

I've seen a handful of these glitches on CMC, always good for a moment of panic:
