I wouldn't recommend doing online banking or reading your personal email by proxy though ;) For those who don't know proxies, you can use proxies to test your website speed from other locations/countries. Have you heard of namebench? it is a software that enhances internet connection by connecting it to best available regional DNS servers. That's what i am using today.
