Title: Can staff delete my account?
Post by: petestheman on October 22, 2014, 11:46:45 PM
I would really like my account deleted for personal reasons. As if I never even posted. Not a permanent ban but a deleted account.

I don't think they will generally do this.

If you have not created any threads and have posted in no threads that are now locked then you can go through all your posts and delete them all. Anytime you were "quoted" your "quote" would remain, although anyone can manipulate a quote.

I do not see any legit reason to want to have your account deleted but not banned.

Staff don't have the ability, Admins can I suppose, but they generally wont.

Nope, but you can delete all your post, change your password to something else randomly and log off your account.

However, your posts may still be found on sites like bitcointa.lk or google cache even if your account is deleted.
