Primedice is hosting a Primedice video competition with over 4 Bitcoins in prizes!

What should the video have in it?

Anything Primedice related! Be creative. Here's some examples off the top of my head:

 - Lucky betting sequences
 - Lucky faucet runs
 - Promotional/advertisement video
 - Information or guides on how to play Primedice
 - A review or overview of Primedice
 - Fun or funny chat moments
 - Maybe even a bit of all the above?

The graphics used in this video seem really old (the beams and stuff). Can't say it's a bad video, but could use some work though. Also too too too much saturation. You should've used very low to none.

This is my second idea with existing stuff. If i have high pc maybe i will make my original video from my pc to launch gta iv ;D unfortunately i can't. And i miss my one idea when i think thats would be really funny ;D
And this is my first time on editing video. Really hard when you need tutorial going to youtube and type "how to" :p

It's a good video except the fact a lot of it is plagiarised. What's a bit more sad is that one of the people in question is dead. I'm not battering this video because I plan to make a video of my own, I'm battering it because a) plagiarism isn't cool b) it especially isn't cool with dead people.

Ok, but the majority of your video is still other people's work, the only bit you really did was the screen recording lol. Make your own content xD Else it's not playing fair for the guys who are spending hours working on editing videos (ahem me...).

And Yeardley Diamond is dead. Died of cardiac arrest about 2 months ago.

People uses others people content all the time as long as u say who's it is , its ok. And he done pretty good job implementing primedice into that , and it turned out to be pretty good.

Other videos are basically tutorials , and basically all the same. Except Sini , and this guy everybody done almost the same video.

And that is why this video and sini's one , are by far my favorites here. :) .

I hope we will see much better videos thou :) .

Well it said anything and I've been thinking of making a PD montage parody for a while xD The problem is that because of the sheer amount of objects (literally, I just added hitmarkers which I have to add to every...single...sniper shot...) it can take hours. I've spent the last 3-4 hours now working on this and I'm 42 seconds in lol.

They've got nothing in common, but are just used to make the original video funnier. Would you be pleased staring at a primedice video where we're looking at 10 minutes of the dice rolling?

I just imagine that only simulator of life with dramatic person who have no talent at betting. ;D and two other guy have a combo luck

Gambling is for people over 18 years old.
You only get more kids/teenagers in the community, when making such videos^^

The target isn't to have a long video with 10 minutes of dice rolling, it should be creative and original.

Yeah someone hit it with a couple hundred views in the space of about an hour, right now "estimated views" is 470. Non-botted count is probably about 250-300 less than that. Still decent though.

This is the guy who immediately said I should be removed from the contest because my video was a joke lol. Not spam either, other people post their video links too. You have no idea what spam is.

well, i screwed up everything. the video which i uploaded was in .wmv format and was not clear on youtube and when i converted that to flv for uploading, it said 'its a duplicate video of what you've uploaded earlier'.
what i am thinking of is to email the video to the support staff of primedice. lets see what esponse i get from there.

IMO, the video would look way better if you didn't put any music in. The quality is really bad.


It's not really cool using websites that have 90% pre-made videos, in which then you just have to insert text and a few images. Though it looks like a nice video, it's not fair toward others. One more thing, the house edge isn't 0%.

I have to agree. I spent upwards of 8 hours working on my video, manually putting everything together, and people walk in and spend 10 minutes using a pre-made video and just filling in text and pictures...ain't cool mate.

For deciding the winner, What i personally think is that, the staff should allot a certain amount of points. Example- inside the video, for introducing primedice3, 5 points, for a good faucet run 5 points, for the creativity, 5 points etc etc. Or we can give points on those parameters which stunna mentioned in the very first post. And the winner will be with most number of points.

Here are the results!

As I said, we were looking for original content that was entertaining and different. A lot of the stuff posted did come under the same tier of video. A lot of reptition basically. Some amazing videos were made, but a lot of them were pretty much following the exact same procedure as all other entries. We tried to pick the most unique videos which were also engaging. Community feedback also played a major part. So thanks to everyone who got involved and recommended certain videos.

At the end of the day, I'm definitely not a professional judge of videos, so my choices most certainly don't reflect who were the true best entries, but none the less this is what I've come up with! Thanks all for entering, it was so much fun going through them all. I think I've watched them all about 3 times each and they still don't get boring.

UserPower - Really deserved 1st place for his professional video that can actually be used for promoting Primedice. Awesome video!
Daved - Absolutely loved this video. Amazing use of integrating the sound track. Was very hard to not give this 1st place.
Buxna - The best tutorial video, we should have at least one tutorial video in the top 5. Well done!
Zahra - Another great promotional video. Did lack information like UserPower's entry.
Sini - Community's vote. Got the most likes and community feedback
Glucose - Very unique and entertaining concept. As we were looking for unique stuff this had to be included in the top!

Man, I feel lucky slipping into nearly last place :(, although I though I'd do better.

About the top prizes, the top two definitely deserved their placings. For third place, Buxna's, I don't really know about that. Overall it was fun just watching all of these videos, and it really was a unique and fun contest! Way better than any referral giveaway or 0.01 promo, etc.

I hope to see more good ideas like this and the "I love PD" thread.

First of all i only VOTED , i wasn't the only "judge" . We all had ours own list , then we overplayed it with each other and we all agreed on top 6 .

My logic was that would be good to have 1 best promo video , 1 funny video and 1 tutorial in top 6 . So something from everything.

And list from 7-16 isn't arranged by best to worst , its just people that did make the cut arranged by the time they posted. Since prize is same for all.

Top 6 videos are rly top 6 , i hardly believe somebody will find more than 1 or 2 video that shoulda been in top 6 and if so what videos shoulda been out ?

Its rly fucking hard to do this stuff , there was a lot of good videos and they can't all be first place (i wish they could) .

I actually did. :) . But that video was made for something else by some other guy. He used that video and just put in the parts to make it primedice video. That's why it didn't do better.

I think u should do it shorter and more compressed . What i mean by that is , show more in less time. Also music was to monotone felt bit boring after first min of watching.

But its not a bad video overall , its just that we had so much videos like that showing stuff around the site. Like half of videos ware like that.

Buxna's video was much faster paced , and great music , so it didn't get boring like most of tutorial videos do.
But ofc i know how to play primedice so it gets boring to me , doesn't mean that somebody who is new to it would not find it very useful .
