Golden State Warriors off to a very fast start. With David Lee back, they should keep it up.

Voted for them

Also, it's nice to see Kevin Durant back in OKC's lineup

The All Star Game in New York will be hilarious with the Knicks tanking, yet Carmelo Anthony is a starter for the East

Melo probably won't be playing. It would be a sham if he played and didn't play for his own club.

I wonder where Marc Gasol will go in free agency if he even leaves. Does he want to go to a big market or not?

Title: Re: NBA 2014/15 Season - Everybody Up!
Post by: beetcoin on January 14, 2015, 12:33:42 AM
Pretty sure he's staying, as the Grizzlies can pay him the most money and he's been living in Memphis for almost 10 years now. I can see him going to the Spurs if Duncan retires though.

Kawhi, Gasol, Parker, that's not a bad core at all.

Add Portland and Houston, too. They play great and their win percentage is high. Let's see what will they do before All-Star weekend.

I don't think Houston is a top 5 team.. Kevin Mchale is a horrible coach after all. Harden is a legit #1 option, but outside of him, there is no real punch. Come playoff time, I think these teams will be better than Houston:

- Grizzlies
- Spurs
- Warriors
- Bulls
- Hawks

Cavs and Lebron looking good these days.

Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony and Chris Bosh shut down for the season.

-
Kevin Durant (foot) will be sidelined 1-week

Kevin Durant underwent a procedure to reduce the pain and discomfort he's been feeling in his right foot on Sunday, and he will be re-evaluated in one week.

The procedure was to replace the screw he had in his foot with a new one, but it is unrelated to the foot fracture that he had surgery on, and the fracture is reportedly fully healed. He will be sidelined for at least the next week, and it's possible he sits longer as OKC will be cautious with their franchise player heading into the playoffs. Russell Westbrook is going to be an absolute monster with Durant sidelined, while Kyle Singler, Dion Waiters, and Perry Jones will also have the opportunity to step up in OKC's rotation.

-
Anthony Davis has been diagnosed with a right shoulder sprain and he is expected to miss 1-2 weeks.

Ryan Anderson's right knee revealed an MCL sprain, and he will be sidelined for the next 2-4 weeks.

Kobe Bryant says he will “die trying” in his comeback next season.

So many "out for the season"

Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, Ricky Rubio, Chris Bosh, Kobe Bryant, Julius Randle, Nick Young, Steve Nash, Brandon Jennings, Patrick Beverley, Josh McRoberts, Jabari Parker, Nikola Pekovic, Shabazz Muhammad, Alec Burks, Joel Embiid, Mirza Teletovic, Kendall Marshall, Wesley Matthews, among others

-
April 8:

Cavs and Nets are heating up, have won 8 of their last 10
---------------
Clippers and Spurs have also won 8 of 10
Rockets, and Warriors have won 9 out of 10

-
Spurs just destroyed the Warriors

Last 4 matches is very important. Either we or Pelicans will go to the playoffs. I believe Westbrook, I hope we can make it to the playoffs again.
