Thank you all for your participation in HyperStake experimental PoS Pool project. At a time, there was a demand for such service, but it appears there is now more interest in Private pool than Public. (easier to manage and track).  It was a very interesting and exiting experiment which morphed overtime to meet the current demand of HyperStake community.

There are plans to relaunch the public pool in another form one day (Multi PoS, Automation, incentives, etc). Any dev that is interesting in working on this project, please contact me. There is a bounty set aside for this project.

Please PM me here or on IRC if you wish to participate in a Private pool, minimum requirement to participate in private pool is 20K.
Currently, there are no fees for pool participation.

About:

First of its kind PoS Staking Pool.  The idea is, pool operator would make a block size of 4000 (for example), lets say a participant sends 200 HYP to the pool. Once that 4000 block stakes, participant would receive 5% of that 4000 block + 5% of the stake + Stake Bonus + HyperPool Lottery (random).


Mission:

1)Provide incentive for small quantity HYP holders to stake and hold HYP and not be discouraged by the pace of larger block size stakers.

2)The more pools operate simultaneously, the more it will contribute to the overall network security.


Benefit to participant:

• Gives smaller holders a chance to stake at a same pace as large holders.
• Compound Faster.
• Prevent losing age on idle change waiting, sometimes days on, for next stake in order to create a new block with it.  Which also might leave you with change.
  
• If a pool takes longer than 30 days to stake, HyperPool will make a manual payout of max. stake amount, 1000HYP
• Guaranties daily block creation. More blocks could be created daily if there is demand.
  
• Stake Bonus: From Stake for Charity donations, IRC tips/rains and Direct donations. (see below for details)
  
• Hassle and worry free staking.
  
• For does who can not dedicate a 24/7 computer or would not be feasible to run a 24/7 session for staking small amount.
  
• HyperPool Lottery: A fund will be started based on initial donation and will stake for HyperPool  Lottery. 50% of the stake will go back to the lottery fund to compound, the other 50% will be distributed to the participants of the winning pool.
  

         The pool that stakes right after lottery pool stakes, wins..

Participation:

• Participate by sending HYP directly to HyperPool fund address: Blue address in my signature. Make sure to send from the same address that payouts will go to. Avoid Sending coins from multiple inputs (addresses) , otherwise I will use the first input address.
• Minimum requirement to participate is 50HYP, please review OP before sending as this amount might change.

Donations:

• In a spirit of helping out smaller HYP holders, I have created a donation address for direct donations to Hyperpool fund. Red Address in my signature
  
• All funds in the donation address will also stake, 50% of stakes will be evenly distributed to the participants of the pool during that period and the other 50% will go back to the donation fund in order compound and increase overall donation fund. In process helping newcomers/small HYP holders to stake faster and get more return, giving them a better chance to somewhat outpace larger holders.  In short, helping does in need.
• There will be a specific field for Hyperpool in the Multisend interface of the wallet..

Thanks David, that was very well put. its Interesting to see the views of others on the Hyperstake PoS pool concept and what it means to them or the community.  
I do believe we have something unique here that will benefit all and if nothing else, a very unique and exciting experiment.

Given the feedbacks I have received, I will post an update tomorrow, which will include a short term to do list.
There will also be few changes that simplifies the participation process. New participation process will also be less reliant on my availability.

Not to ignore the elephant in the room, I am working on implementing a "Dead man's Switch", details on this will also be posted later on.

I just created the HyperPool (http://hyperstake.wikia.com/wiki/HyperPool) entry in the Wikia. I reused Kushedout content and added some, but there is certainly a lot of things to add. I trust you for updating the page.

I am also sending 2500 HYP to the donation address and 2500 HYP to the Lottery address. Finally, I will refrain from using the pool myself.

If you guys have change sitting in your wallets, remember you are wasting staking age on does by waiting on the next block. Send it to the pool, let it start staking for you sooner.

I just thought of this, and wanted to know how pool owners would solve this. What if the pool doesn't stake in a timely fashion? For example, if we have pool 3 not stake until day 40 or something, do you just keep staking until it finally mints or is there a cutoff date?

Timely fashion would be anywhere from 8.8 Days to 30 days for optimum block size, as mentioned withing wiki http://hyperstake.wikia.com/wiki/HyperStake (http://hyperstake.wikia.com/wiki/HyperStake)
I have not had a block that went over 16 days.  However, to answer your question. No, there is no cutcoff date, it would stake until it mints.

Yup. However, maybe its something the pool can also guarantee as an incentive. A 1000HYP (max. stake) payout, if the pool takes longer than 30 days.  I'll update OP later to include this as well under "Benefit to participant:". Thank you for bringing up this concern, bellow is what presstab had to say on IRC in regards to optimum block size taking longer than 30 days to stake.

Today is a historic day for HyperPool, as Pool_2 was the first pool to stake.

Yes that would work, be like the multipool but with POS...

In order to create a PoS multipool, one must acquire a list of  PoS coins. If I am to spend money on PoS coins, I might as well buy HYP and start staking. 

So we need to reach out to other POS coins, I don't believe I'm "official" enough to ask other coins though....

Are people interested in a pos-multipool? I understood that Kushed is not but others are.

If it doesn't work out, at least we tried (at least that's how I see it)

Selling them for hyp or what ever pos coin the user wants to be paid in, similar as coinking.io multipool, but with pos coins.
If high pos continues to gain focus, the diff issue could veru well happend to other pos coins to, hence a multipool would help the small holders.
Kind of like a hedge fund almost, atleast could be managed that way.
I think high pos is here not only to stay, but expand further and alot bigger.

This is a cool concept, snowballs, quotient are both high stake coins that seem to be doing well. maybe they would be up for a discussion about it?

I don't think snowball would be worth something like this, due to the high transaction fees. It's better for users to stake on their own IMO in snowballs case.

your coin amount is listed in each pools spreadsheet, within the spreadsheet there is a HYP address for that pool if you wish to track it trough blockchain.  Once the pool you're in stakes,  your initial investment + stakes are sent to the same address you used to send the funds to the pool.

Ladies and gentleman, I would like to announce that HyperPool hit a new milestone. We are now on Pool 50.  To celebrate HyperStake style, I will rain in ##HYP-Pool. I would like to note, though the process has been mostly manual, it has not affected the operation negatively and the rate of participation has steadily increased over time.  With that said, Automation of HyperPool is still in progress and we’ll announce when beta is ready for public testing.  Thank you all for the support.

Thank you for the patience and help. I will observe the regulations you mentioned before sending any more HYP.

You message the operate that you wish to add currency to the pool for staking plus the exact amount you wish to send and then send it to the address in his signature. I am currently waiting for a reply on wither or not we wait for approval before sending but aside from that it's a pretty straight forward process. I asked to have my payouts reinvested rather than getting small payouts so it will grow I'm sure he will allow it if you ask as well. It would be wise to do so if you only have a small amount to add.

   No need to send a message, as long as you send them from your private wallet, and preferably from one address.  Kushed (the operator of the pool) will automatically put them in the next available pool, and once they stake he'll send the coins plus interest back to the sending address. 

   Don't send them from an exchange or from the IRC tip-bot.  Or anywhere else that your not sure what address they will actually be sent from. 

I've done this several times, and never had a problem.

Thank you all for your participation in HyperStake experimental PoS Pool project. At a time, there was a demand for such service, but it appears there is now more interest in Private pool than Public. (easier to manage and track).  It was a very interesting and exiting experiment which morphed overtime to meet the current demand of HyperStake community.

There are plans to relaunch the public pool in another form one day (Multi PoS, Automation, incentives, etc). Any dev that is interesting in working on this project, please contact me. There is a bounty set aside for this project.

Please PM me here or on IRC if you wish to participate in a Private pool, minimum requirement to participate in private pool is 20K.
Currently, there are no fees for pool participation.
