There are many ways to help expand the existing Bitcoin network. As we have witnessed, the original understanding of many was that bitcoin was bringing about financial value in the form of a currency. This is where Bitcoin received its spotlight from users as its price increased exponentially. This financial expansion has allowed this online currency to become much more than that. In fact, it has now become a way of doing things differently whilst maintaining a much higher level of integrity than we have come to know.

To expand on this idea and help us get a better idea of what we may be facing in the coming years, we decided to attend the first Bitcoin 2 Business Congress, located in the city of Brussels, Belgium. This event was hosted by the well-known CryptoEvents organizers who have also hosted other successful events, such as the Central European Conference in Vienna and the recent BitcoinExpo 2014 in Shanghai.

There were many guest speakers who were able to point out or suggest the direction in which this market was flowing. Jeremy Gardner, the cofounder and executive director of the College Cryptocurrency Network, presented many bright ideas that seem to suggest a powerful shift in the next decade. To really understand what this shift may be and what it would mean for the average person, we continued to watch the stand as 10 crypto startups and their members spoke about their goals and overall aim in this market. Some had the right attitude and idea backed up with successful results, while others were there to gain support and guidance.

I wish I was there and I could listen their insights of bitcoin or vision for the future. It seems recently there are a lot of technological articles being published out, such as sidechain, reduction the size of blockchain database needed to download by bitcoin qt, ISO-certified currency code etc.
