Introducing Quicksilver

Quicksilver is designed to be cryptocurrency’s first large-scale foray into the taxicab industry. With super-fast confirmation times and a development team with a clear roadmap focused upon adoption, Quicksilver is uniquely suited to act as a transmitter of payment between taxicab drivers and their passengers. Quicksilver aims to tap into America’s billion dollar taxicab fare industry by serving as a swift, secure, and streamlined payment system.

Taxicab owners who implement the Quicksilver payment system will be able to avoid the expensive fees charged by credit card companies, and customers using Quicksilver can take advantage of the superior security and privacy protections offered by the “Push” system of cryptocurrencies, as compared to the “Pull” system used by credit cards. Rather than having to give out their financial information for every taxicab ride, customers will have peace of mind knowing that their personal information remains safe and private.


Why Quicksilver?

Because achieving ease of use is a critical step to conquer if the advantages of cryptocurrencies are ever going to reach widespread adoption, Quicksilver is will implement one-click fiat to QSLV transfers through our website and a mobile app. This simplicity means that many Quicksilver users will not even be aware that they are paying for their taxi fares with a cryptocurrency, yet they will still be receiving all the benefits provided by the blockchain.


Funding:

Quicksilver will be distributed through a 250 BTC pre-sale hosted at Bittrex, the funds from which will go towards the development of the above-mentioned infrastructure, in addition to targeted promotional efforts pitching the benefits of Quicksilver to taxicab owners and passengers alike.

While the exact allotments are subject to change, below is the estimated budget for the pre-sale funds.

$5,000 — Incidentals (this also acts as a reserve to provide for unforeseen expenses)

The pre-sale hosted by Bittrex is still being scheduled, and it will be priced at 5000 satoshi per coin.

Many more details will be added to this thread over the coming week as we approach the pre-sale launch date. While you should feel free to ask any questions you might have, I expect that many of your questions will be covered by the full ANN and the upcoming whitepaper--these should be completed in the next couple days.

So, how much will be ipo price per coin and how much btc you want to obtain off ipo?

I am still getting price quotes for some of the milestones on our roadmap, and of course our expected expenses greatly influence the amount of Bitcoin we need to raise through this pre-sale. But these details should all be worked out within the next day and will be updated in the full ANN, alongside a complete budget and breakdown of expected expenses.
