Title: Self-moderated thread
Post by: wangxinxi on October 27, 2014, 05:26:54 AM
What's this? Do other users see this in my thread as well?

Warning: Moderators do not remove likely scams. You must use your own brain: caveat emptor. Watch out for Ponzi schemes. Do not invest more than you can afford to lose.

If it's self-moderated they'll see it is with a warning, but that warning is atop every thread in certain sections I believe regardless of self-moderated or not.

For self-mod thread, the thread creator has the power to delete any replies in the thread freely.
Other users won't have any problem reading the thread, but there will be a message "This is a self-moderated topic. If you do not want to be moderated by the person who started this topic, create a new topic." on top.
Also, users may have a negative impression on your business as they may think you are going to censor negative comments.

That warning will show when looking at any thread in a few sections such as securities and long term lending. It has nothing to do with the self-moderated message.
