Just use the one on the site, it's large enough for the banner size the OP is requesting.

You should do the banners in .gif cause not all devices can view flash files(talking about mobiles)

I agree with Watoshi-Dimobuto, sorry superSTAR777.

The GFXer chose it because it's modeled after the site's design, and the color scheme is complementary to the other colors on the site as well. I think this one of the best ones so far. If the OP could tell whether or not he/she wanted an animated banner, though, it may be beneficial. If it turns out they don't want an animated one, it'd suck for those who put in time to design a cool animated one

These 2 are good! They are probably the best ones here Except the flaw's are Superhitech's is simple (but then again they say nice and sexy and simple. It still looks very good) and minifrij is kind of hard to read, and it takes too long to process all features. (You aren't going to look at an ad for 3 minutes waiting for it to finish. Other than that, great job you two!

This one is nice, but it doesn't match the site at all.

I agree. The last one reminds me of a legit casino, so it's really good in that sense, but the color scheme doesn't really match with the layout of the actual site itself. minifrij's are still my favorite by far.

Watoshi, I liked the first couple you posted, with the wooden backgrounds; those were a good potential match for the site. The latest two, however, look a little too blurry, particularly the second one. The sharpness could be improved, and the text could be worked on a little more, since it looks like it was just text boxes pasted onto a certain section of the screen. During the animation, the image actually shifts down to towards the right corner, too, if you look closely.

Mind you, I'm not a great GFXer myself, but I like critiquing other people's work. The majority of these entries are better than what I could produce.

I agree with conteaza, it's a bit too early to be announcing people as winners. Especially since there are still a few more days left for people to enter.

All of the entries here have their pros and cons, and it will be up to Rollin.io to judge them all for what they want to represent their website. And I have nothing against minifrij's work. I was going to do something similar, but one of the requirements was for it to be easily readable, and the one critique I have of it, is that it is very hard to read the "No Registration," in particular. It took me a couple of minutes to remember what it was supposed to be. Otherwise, it's great.

I agree, this is kind of hard to read. BTW so many talented people on this forum!

Also, jsmit332's banners are the best so far imo. They look so professional mate, well done! If you don't mind me asking, what did you use to make them?

I was trying to go for a more professional look (at the risk of looking cliche). I feel that a professional looking ad/banner sets a good impression before you even visit the site. Anyways, its upto Rollin.io to decide the final one, I can always make revisions if my design gets selected.

I was actually kind of wondering when the contest ends/winners will be announced. I know it ends on the 5th, but that could be the morning of the 5th or the end of the 5th, and in an international forum the hours may vary. I figured I better be earlier than the 5th by a day, just in case. lol.  :)

How is this done?
I don't even have photoshop.

There are various softwares aside from Photoshop. Photoshop is overpriced and overly flashy, imho.

I like Photoshop great program. Overpriced? Well it costs money instead of being free. But in my opinion it is still the best program out there.

You can get similar results with GIMP if you know what you're doing. Sure, Photoshop looks good, but the majority of features aren't used by users. For those that are specializing in graphics and would actually use such features, then by all means, go ahead. Them professionals are far and few tho.

I think the green bars on the right side merging would look better if it was animated in the reverse direction...but this one is also nice.

Roslin's designs would look better if the borders were sharpened a little more; they look too blurred for my taste.

Superhitech, I think the text would look better with a border, since the "Low House Edge" looks kind of pasted onto another layer :o

As for roslin, I think that your colors are a bit too dull, otherwise great. Watoshi, your designs improve with every entry! The last design looked pretty good!

I made my banners in a professional way , since too much animation makes a site banner funny , i could do highly animated but simple is always cool :)

Its better than nothing, and participating in a contest MEANS that you will not get anything for your time if you don't win. So, kudos to Rollin.io for this. I am a full time designer, and charge as much as $150 per banner, but participating here I knew fully well I might not get any remuneration.

As for meeting the design, it is nice if a design reflects a websites color, but it is not always required. The purpose of a banner is to get people who are interested to click on it, so its important for it to be attractive, AND its also very important for it to give a professional look because in the end that forms a pre-impression in the users mind.
