Title: $10 to $1000 Challenge Post by: tjh11 on October 27, 2014, 11:32:41 PM Hey everyone,
I've been lurking around here for a little while now, and I figured now was as good a time as any to post up this thread. I've been checking out several other gambling forums, and I was intrigued by one thread in particular where a sports bettor turned 200 euros into over 10,000 euros within a matter of days by compounding his winnings. (http://community.betfair.com/football/go/thread/view/94070/29824885/zezes-challenge?liveView=0&pg=1) I understand this is very unlikely, but it still got me thinking: What if I could turn $10 into $1000 by compounding my winnings? It'll be a challenge, but I'm up for it, and I think I'll be able to do it. And I'll document all my progress on this forum. Here is my plan: -Bet on the "Over 0.5 Goals" in soccer, after doing research on each game -Compound all of my winnings until I get to $1000 The odds for all of my bets will probably be under 1.10, but I'm fine with that, as long as I win. Most soccer games do not end in 0-0, but anything can happen in sports; that's why I'll do my research and look at stats for each game I bet on. I don't know how long this will take me, but stay tuned, and wish me luck! I'll be sure to update this thread every day with my bets. Albirex Niigata v Brunei DPMM FC Over 0.5 Goals 1.04 Stake: $10 Title: Re: $10 to $1000 Challenge Post by: superSTAR777 on October 27, 2014, 11:38:19 PM better bet on under 4.5 goals or under 3.5 which gives you more stability , 0-0 happens now a days quite often ..
GOODLUCK Title: Re: $10 to $1000 Challenge Post by: tjh11 on October 27, 2014, 11:39:48 PM better bet on under 4.5 goals or under 3.5 which gives you more stability , 0-0 happens now a days quite often .. GOODLUCK I haven't had much luck with under bets, but I'll consider it. Only around 10% of all soccer games on any given day end 0-0, so my goal is to avoid those. Thanks for your support! Title: Re: $10 to $1000 Challenge Post by: rammy2k2 on October 28, 2014, 12:15:07 AM i tried that too, with very "sure" bets ... i have failed after a few ;D

However, I won't be betting blindly on "sure" bets, I'll be doing my research. Also, I've seen this work before, so I know I can do it.Title: Re: $10 to $1000 Challenge Post by: alabamafan1 on October 28, 2014, 12:51:54 AM i tried that too, with very "sure" bets ... i have failed after a few ;D I appreciate your feedback. Good luck to you! :)

The only way imo, no half-measures. Title: Re: $10 to $1000 Challenge Post by: caga on October 28, 2014, 09:27:37 AM Wouldn't it be better to just bet at high odds at dice and compundly increase it?
Title: Re: $10 to $1000 Challenge Post by: zetaray on October 28, 2014, 10:20:50 AM Good luck to your challenge. I watch matches all the time, 0-0 is more likely than you think. Choose your matches wisely.
Title: Re: $10 to $1000 Challenge Post by: Ajatmoralez on October 28, 2014, 10:27:36 AM Just place a bet on a team that you think will win easily. Soccer was unpredictable.

Do you bet your whole bankroll each time on 10% chance winners? seems like you will need a lot of luck to get from $10 to $1000, gl though! Title: Re: $10 to $1000 Challenge Post by: Wendigo on October 28, 2014, 10:37:58 AM I am doing something similar but betting on one of the teams to score 1 or more goals because the odds are much higher around 1.30 or so. Also, I was able to turn .01 to over .140 in 3 days doing this, betting pre-game also live.
And for 0-0 occurring very rarely, well Bayern Munich has all the firepower in the world however their last match ended 0-0 with odds of over 2 goals being at 1.10 before the game. Title: Re: $10 to $1000 Challenge Post by: tjh11 on October 28, 2014, 12:05:39 PM Are you going to all-in every bet? I will most likely go all in up until around $100. I honestly don't have the guts to go all in at that point. The only way imo, no half-measures. Title: Re: $10 to $1000 Challenge Post by: tjh11 on October 28, 2014, 12:06:28 PM Just place a bet on a team that you think will win easily. Soccer was unpredictable. I'd rather do the Over 0.5 Goals, because I feel that's more predictable than who is going to win the match.Title: Re: $10 to $1000 Challenge Post by: tjh11 on October 28, 2014, 12:07:15 PM Hey everyone, I've been lurking around here for a little while now, and I figured now was as good a time as any to post up this thread. No, because in dice, the house has an edge, no matter what. If I can maintain a good win percentage, I can have an edge over the house.Title: Re: $10 to $1000 Challenge Post by: sj2199 on October 28, 2014, 12:11:28 PM think if u are at the last bet of ur target and u lose..............that would give u real pain..

No, because in dice, the house has an edge, no matter what. If I can maintain a good win percentage, I can have an edge over the house. You might have an edge but the chances of getting $10 to $100 are still hugely out of your favour unless your edge is very large. Just saying. No harm in having fun though :) Title: Re: $10 to $1000 Challenge Post by: tjh11 on October 28, 2014, 12:37:27 PM think if u are at the last bet of ur target and u lose..............that would give u real pain.. Title: Re: $10 to $1000 Challenge Post by: jaberwock on October 28, 2014, 01:01:09 PM consider other less known options.
Like red cards, penalties, half time, clean sheets, and both teams to score options. Sometimes they might give a good reward. Title: Re: $10 to $1000 Challenge Post by: tjh11 on October 28, 2014, 01:01:50 PM Second bet:

But more unlikely in games that are not with teams known by their violence, or in decisive games. Clean sheet might be a good option if you know one team is going to make defence play, or if one team is much better in defence than in offense. But all depend on the game Title: Re: $10 to $1000 Challenge Post by: tjh11 on October 28, 2014, 01:16:54 PM consider other less known options. That's a good idea! But its very hard to achieve because its hard to get that many wins in a row.

One of my goals here is to gain an edge over the house. |
