Title: Did you guys all try Nxtty yet?
Post by: devphp on October 28, 2014, 05:43:07 PM
Search by keyword 'nxtty' in Google Play. The app has some rough edges, but works mostly. Mind you, it's v1.0 only. Oh and they give a bonus to the first 100 000 signups, so hurry up ) Their main thread is here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=735878.0).

GEMS has a nice distribution model but as an app it lacks even basic functions like sending pictures etc, it's gonna struggle therefore to grow past the crypto gulag. NXTTY is looking the more likely to succeed at this point cause it looks ready for prime time.

Hey guys let's not argue which is better, GEMS isn't released yet, so we can't evaluate really. Nxtty is pretty basic too at this point. But it's still cutting-edge technology, and everyone should try both apps, I believe.

GEMS is build on top op BTC through Counterparty, which to me is strong backing.

They are probably afraid to get used to Nxtty so much that they won't even look at GEMS )

I agree. I'm trying out nxtty at the moment. For a release it's good working but as you said of course pretty basic. But some features have great potential and the first update is close to come.
When Gems is out I will try it out too. Why not invest in both? This is the way I go.
