Title: 'Now that my buddies locked your husband away, I've got you all to myself.'
Post by: awesome31312 on October 29, 2014, 12:21:48 PM
A police officer wanted to have sex with a woman, but she was married.

He solved the problem by forging false evidence against her husband to get her arrested.

I'm not going to tell you what happened next, because I want you to read the article yourself.

Cop should have basic morals what should be done and what shouldn't be done before becoming a cop. Otherwise how will they be enforcing the law?

Yes, that was from my post. The police love to abuse their authority in a state where the people don't know their rights.

Cop should have basic morals what should be done and what shouldn't be done before becoming a cop. Otherwise how will they be enforcing the law?

On the contrary, they must have (http://abcnews.go.com/US/court-oks-barring-high-iqs-cops/story?id=95836) lower IQs than your average Joe to be able to become officers

That article is very poorly written.  I could not figure from it whether your take on the matter is right or wrong.

But regardless, doesn't this mean that the system works?  The bad cop has been suspended after evidence arose that he was bad.

That's because articles don't have to be biased towards a certain perspective ("Right" or "Wrong" is subjective)

Sorry it doesn't tell you what to think

I would distinguish between "poorly written" and "not telling you what to think" but aside from that we're in agreement.

we need to decentralise the police.
http://www.scribd.com/doc/207464412/From-Overseer-to-Officer

The very impetus of the creation of the concept of police patrols in America was born of slave patrols. I argue that we don't need police, and organized citizen groups would be far more efficient, responsive, and sensitive to the needs of the locals. Police are not supposed to have any special rights over that of any other citizen. Community controlled patrols and emergency services are the common law solution to a nation traumatized by maritime contract law via land pirates, AKA police.

Police are here to control the chattel population (you) and extract revenue from them, not to serve you or the constitution. They work for private corporations operating under color of common law, and you willfully contract with, and therefore submit to them. None of us have any obligation to contract with these impostors, but until we can each as individuals remove our ignorance to this fact, they will continue to subjugate all those who can not via legal code, extract their freedom via knowledge.

With the knowledge that there will be zero thigns that happen to you for the horrors you commit on another person people do many things without giving a fuck.

This is why you had the 2nd ammendment and property laws but now you are scared of "terrorists" that do not exist.

Bolded above, not true only of cops but of virtually all in the employ of government.  They are shielded from prosecution for wrongdoing while on the job.

the day a predator under the clocking of a civilian law enforcement tries to attack the wife of a member of a soup agency (like counter-psy op in occupied land operative) will see how unprosecutable he is... time to harvest what's left of value in those few example of infamy, if you know what I mean...

The article is so badly written it is not worth reading. Who wrote it? There are bad apples everywhere, not only law enforcement agencies in US. I have heard worse (unconfirmed) in south america and south asia.

They are given the power. So they use it. What is so hard to understand about this?

When it comes to police corruption, the US actually is very good about there being relatively little amount of police corruption when compared to the rest of the world.

Even in places as close as Mexico, the police tend to be corrupt and willing to require bribes in order to get out of jail.

Generally there is a negative coloration between the level of corruption and how economically developed a country is (I would however say that China is one exception to this)

The original source is a little more coherent presentation of events: http://www.kvue.com/story/news/local/2014/10/22/lieutenant-suspended-after-controversy-surrounding-affair/17717987/

Three day suspension for a false report, does not sound too serious.

Bad cops are very bad things indeed.

Citizen files a false report, gets charged criminally. Cop does it, three day suspension.

No double standard here!
