Did you take the "In theory, with low enough volume in btc (say $10k/day) and reserves of
bitcoin equal to one days estimated volume; you could accept bitcoin at the
current ticker values and convert within seconds to usd; effectively removing
currency speculation while still allowing users/cusotmers to purchase in
bitcoin." bit from my post?

Nice. It took me several times to get one Hacker News front page and shortly after, it slips from the front page.

Nope.  Not sure which post you are referring to.

I was thinking about writing a more extended explanation of how that would work, have you done that already?

Thanks for the (presumed) help getting there :)

Where did they get the almost-accurate numbers for the number of sales we have made?  That made me LOL to see.  We haven't sold quite 45 shirts; but we are close.

Don't know. You have to ask my writer.

Ok.

No I have nothing to do with anything like that.
I suspect a direct API with mtGox would lend itself to semi-live exchange, but depth is going to be an issue.

Hi, I'm Vitalik Buterin, the writer. I bought a shirt from you guys myself, so I saw how the URLs stored the user and order numbers. From there, it was pretty simple.

It says "access denied" here (ie. a 10th order exists): http://iusecoins.com/user/1/order/10
It says "page not found" here (ie. a 1000th order does not exist): http://iusecoins.com/user/1/order/1000

Binary search from there.

Think it was in one of the bubble threads or so. Just check my posts via profile, I'm fairly new. :)

Was a post <= the day I posted here, ofc.
