This is blackmail so you could open a scam accusation against him and post the evidence. Is he on default trust? If not his feedback won't matter that much. If it's true what you say he will likely get negative feedback from trusted members of the community.

Why do you mean by famous? A prominent member? You should make the name public. People have a right too know.

I cant show proof, since he came on my teamspeak and threatened me on there, but you will see it as soon as i go Live with my site that I'll suddently have negative feedback from him

Teamspeak is primarily voice comms and no one really uses the chat (more for sending links). You can record voice but it tells everyone else in the room that you're now recording. tldr, probably no evidence of this other than the user / IP connecting to his teamspeak.

He could have used his phone to record the conversation as well as used quicktime to record a screen shot of the other person being connected to his teamviewer.

It is also probably too late however he could send the other person a PM saying that he is interested in starting his business, or something else to try to get him to put it in writing that he will give neg trust upon the starting of the OP's business

Don't worry about this member , open the thread and start your bussines ;). The actual defaultTrust list it is not so trust (there are some scammer users and some inactive users).

He knows your forum profile and teamspeak details. I don't know how telling his forum name would reveal more details about yourself to him.

If your business is legit and not a copy of his ideas, I see no reason why you should give up your business idea for another forum user. Go ahead and do not let market incumbents bully you.

There are users around here that deliberately go around trying to blackmail or scam sellers, it's not just a one sided problem, screenshot or record any conversation you have with him and post it public, though chances are now you're talking about it they'll likely stop and move on to someone else. I had a user awhile back that was spamming everyone trying to scam them out of their goods and in my case it would have been some silver and gemstones that are worth a bit, there are also definitely users in the past that have tried to threaten and extort businesses with negative feedback and so on.

In my experience people who make threats are bluffing just for the attention.

If he tries to use his influence for something like you described, he will lose his influence.

I doubt it is vod, however the OP started an escrow service shortly after making this post. The OP does not have very much trading history, certainly not enough to operate an escrow service. I would say the negative trust threat was warranted if the unnamed person was threatening to give negative trust because you would "compete" with their escrow service
