Is it just me or is asset-backed crypto asinine? If you want assets, why not buy Au, Ag, Pt, etc.? If you want crypto, why not buy btc, ltc, doge, xmr, drk, etc.? What's the appeal of buying some brand new shit coin that is supposedly backed by some anonymous dev with a metric ton of urine?

Why gold, silver and plat? They are controlled prices by government, just like fiat. Wasn't that one of the nicer points of crypto?

Doge? LTC? What do they really bring? Litecoin was a clone of Bitcoin, nothing more. Same with Doge. Neither have brought anything to the table. DRK and XMR: New technologies, but where are they for the market? Their price is tied to Bitcoin, nothing more.

As for an anonymous dev. We are a fully registered company, with our company details available on the website, as well as real life names from each person behind it. We are not here to produce some coin with "ooh look, an anonymous feature". We are not here to use a whitepaper to pump and dump a coin. This is a real time investment backed by real assets.

You didn't answer the question. If assets have their prices controlled by fiat, and cryptos are all tied to bitcoin, then that still leaves the question: why buy asset-backed crypto?

Fair enough on that. Here's a question for you: Why invest into any crypto besides Bitcoin? None of them are special. They hype features to push price so people can pump. ICOs for other coins (I.E. Arch, Cannabis, ETC) are backed by promises and nothing more. We are a company backing this with our names and funds. Personal details and company details are out there. What is safer: Investing into something like Dogecoin and hoping the price either stays or moves upwards, or investing into a currency backed by an entire company with real possibilities? It's like investing into stocks, except with crypto instead of fiat.

Then why not just issue stock with splits, instead of a PoS coin with interest? You just trying to avoid the SEC?

Really not sure what the SEC has to do with any of this, considering they have no actual say. Mostly, we are trying to integrate ourselves more into the crypto society. We feel it has a very bright future.

From what I gather, UCI has all legal areas covered by their legal Counsel.  :)

Just checked out the webpage, and I see you guys are based in Lebanon, so I guess the United States Securities and Exchanges Commission would not have jurisdiction. It seems like the only asset backing the coins is the company, though, and your promises to payout some cash/btc every month, which when you guys control all of the coins in the beginnning, seems just like a stock with splits that pays dividends, right?

And I guess you guys probably don't have enough capital to qualify for listing on the Beirut stock exchange, as it seems to require at least 1M USD worth of Lebanese pounds. I think it's a great idea for a company to issue a crypto backed by assets. It can be a marketing tool, a token for an internal share options scheme, a crowdfunding instrument, and probably many other things....

If you read up the list of assets on the crowdsale faq page there is more than just UCI company shares,also Hydroinfra technologies and Diamond Circle shares and lots more.

Their company holds shares of other companies. One of them is an Australia-based startup featured in the 2014 Gartner Cool Vendor list....  I believe those shares are valuable.

Yes we need 3million us dollars to be listed on Lebanon IPO, but like Claudiop said, we are not the ones holding the shares of the projects we are involved in, the companies that we own assets in hold the shares themselves, so one of the companies is hydroinfra technologies in sweden, and it is managed by Euroclear.com, and the other is in australia Diamond Circle, which also being managed by Funding Strategies and soon will be listed on ASSOB, and may other companies around the world, so you are safe with us, especially when you invest we send you shares directly to your account that you signup for with those companies, so you will be the holder of the assets, what more security you want than this/? :)

Why would you think this is a Lebanese scam. I am from the UK myself. I have had great pleasure in meeting Antoun. He has shown great potential. it's entirely up to you guys, you can sit there and think everything in life is a scam or you can join us in what will be the next big internet investment and has the potential to take over where bitcoin has seemingly failed to do.

Yes, there have been many scamcoins, this has proven to be a difficult task to try and win people's hearts and minds over. I have personally been a miner for over a year and yes i was scammed by zipcoin and some other coins that failed to make any difference. I even invested thousands in mining gear.

But, now i am happy and content with UCIcoin. they are asset backed, good news for anyone who is concerned and wants some stability. They are a team that is well established, that will not give up.

So, what will it be.. a life of not knowing or tread the waters, Don't invest any more than you can afford to loose, is always a great motto of mine.. So please do the same.

You are making big assumptions by saying things like "take over where bitcoin has seemingly failed to do". Yours is one more project, successfull or not, scam or not. If your objective its to take over bitcoin, its not going to happen.

This project of yours is not looking very proffessional yet I have to say, youll have to work harder if you want people to put their money in one out of hundreds of new coins.

A couple of supporters? We have over 40 people in the group working for UCi or have some investment involvement at a very high level who come from from various backgrounds and ethnic groups. There is only 1 owner Antoun Toubia that i am aware of.

To answer to your comment about your commenting here, yes we are not very active right now. Because not all channels have been utilised until we are ready to show everyone what we have to offer. This is and will always be a WIP. With regards to an offering of the ICO, this was for anyone with the foresight to get involved. Whilst we would love many people to purchase the coins, we can not force them and its not our wish to do so either or be too concerned about this at this point in time.

Oh I do know what I'm talking about.... you see there are investors out there that don't know or never tried working with crypto currency but rather invest in a larger sum of money towards a company. I know of two that I talked to that was interested but didn't know how to proceed.

Nice to see UCI Coinon CEX for the Crypto Community although many more investors are buying out of the exchanges.. I am glad we have founders positions too, they have good value for our bucks for sure.

I will also help we also seeing UCI on btc.pool.exchange as well. I am so glad I got a founders and also QBK got founders. I think it's time to pick up some bargain basement price coins on cex and btc.pool before UCI coins go through the roof price wise with all the new developments that is.  :)
