Title: Dogecoin DigitalOcean VPS Setup Help Needed (I can send DOGE)
Post by: ramsess on November 04, 2014, 05:36:57 PM
Hi Guys,

I wanted to setup DOGE mining system on DigitalOcean VPS.  I tried to follow this topic http://www.servermom.org/mine-doge-coins-digital-ocean-vps/1093/ and setup but I couldn't.

Is there anyone to help me? I can send DOGE for this service.

I highly suggest not doing this.  Digital ocean is using CPU's.

CPU days have been over a while, most are GPU if not asic.    If you "have" to use DO VPS i highly suggest using a coin asics do not do.

If you want to mine with a VPS, try a CPU friendly coin like XMG (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=735170.0). You'll find a detailed tutorial in the op.

This, basically. You'll be wasting time (and money) trying to mine any sort of coin with GPU or ASIC miners out there.
