Title: Looking for Webhoster
Post by: Karl Waldmann on June 01, 2012, 02:56:23 PM
Hello friends,

as you might have seen in my post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=84178.0 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=84178.0), I offer a little counseling service.

I would like to have an internet apperance as well. I already made a website but I'm still looking for a Webhoster who will accept Bitcoins.

These are my requirements:
-Server not in USA, Germany, Australia or UK.
-Wordpress compability (Want to add a blog)
-Able to host Mumble-Server (since I read an article about skype... Privacy, do they know that word??!!)
-Email account possible
-As cheap as possible ;)
-2 Domains needed (ending is not so important, again, as cheap as possible)
-10GB-30GB should be enough, with option to upgrade if needed
-Unlimited Traffic

Thanks for the help guys!

Your friend Karl

(Edit: I hope I'm in the right forum, if not please move the thread. Thanks)

Hi,

as you are from most properly Germany, take a look at http://www.iw-hosting.de/ they provide hosting as you wish and the support will surely get you your mumble server.

greetings,
Fredyy

We offer web hosting services and accept BTC as a form of payment.

Though we are located in the US, it seems very odd to me the restrictions you have, those locations are the most popular and best locations for web hosting services.

Might I ask why you have such restrictions?

Hmm... it does not look like they are accepting BTC. I only see JPMorgans Crappal, so that's a bummer. Do you know if they take BTC?

Might I ask why you have such restrictions?
Since I want to provide a service, which relys heavily on privacy and trust, I can't open a server in one of the mentioned countries. Neither do they respect privacy/property rights nor are they in any kind sympathic towards my "grey market" business.
So yeah, this is why I will and can not have a server in these countries.
(Btw. I have seen your service earlier, but the US thing is unfortunately a no-go  :(
