Title: Most Profitable Pool?
Post by: Braincraze on November 05, 2014, 07:46:50 PM
Hi All,

Firstly, hope everyone is well.

What's the most profitable pool currently?

I have 7TH that I want to put to good use, but I don't seem to be picking up much on GHASH and Slush looks to be taking forever on each round.

Thanks in advance guys <3

Try BAN   https://mining.bitcoinaffiliatenetwork.com/admin.php (https://mining.bitcoinaffiliatenetwork.com/admin.php) which is a PPS pool. I have my payments sent every 2 hours and I like the steady payout.

I have mined at both the above pools and left Slush due to poorly ran and to many mistakes on payouts. GHash is good but I get better/higher daily payouts from BAN

good use or maximum returns? if it's good use, I's suggest https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=789369.0 ([1100 TH] CKPool (www.kano.is) from the cgminer devs [0.9% PPLNS]) run by cgminer developers. they are currently developing the next gen pool software, all open source. if you use cgminer s/w to mine, you may as well mine at a pool developed by the same guys. you know they provide all these s/w free to the bitcoin community. send some hash their way to say cheers!!

for maximum returns? well, kano.is just solved 4 blocks in <20 hours with a pool rate of 1PH. how's the for maximum returns?

blocks#
328928 (https://blockchain.info/block-height/328928)
328952 (https://blockchain.info/block-height/328952)
328996 (https://blockchain.info/block-height/328996)
329041 (https://blockchain.info/block-height/329041)

Cheers,
QG

After rethinking about your question if you really want the most profitable pool I think it would be to solo mine. The risk is high but the payout if your lucky, as a few others have been, would make it the most profitable. I have mined here and plan on turning my miners back there once they become less profiable in the near future. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=763510.0 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=763510.0)

You should also try our NiceHash / WestHash stratum pool service. Take a look at pasts stats for SHA256 on our NiceHash (Europe): https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=stats and WestHash (USA West): https://www.westhash.com/index.jsp?p=stats ... as you can see you can expect >10+% better payouts then regular direct Bitcoin mining on PPS system and regular daily payouts, no dependence on luck.

gotta love NiceHash/WestHash.

I am comparing s0br's pool to it today to see if there's much difference. After 2 hrs, (yup- a very short time period), I am liking them both.
