For some reason the checkout price using the bitcoin option was 1.58BTC, where the coinpayments.net was 1.53. That's not a small difference. I obviously went with coinpayments. Waiting on the confirmation of the purchase and receipt.
Also - site just went down it looks like? Horrible timing... Edit: Just spoke to ltcgearshares and everything is resolved, though their website still is experiencing issues.
