Title: WANT TO MAINTAIN A SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN
Post by: grtthegreat on November 08, 2014, 08:12:22 AM
Hello guys, this is grtthegreat. As you can see in the title, I wish I can be given a chance to maintain a complete signature campaign. I have already been managing the 777Coin signature campaign here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=840124.0. I maintain the list, register the users and pay them weekly there.

Any offers can be sent via PM or can be posted here. Rates can be discussed later.

This is my honest opinion. Maintaining a signature campaign is easy. I've done it myself, and I can say it is not alot of work.

For anyone out there looking for someone to run it, take a look around. Running one of these does not take a skill. It's just plain work, that is fairly easy.

i look at the 777 coin campaign and i dont think it's alot of work
the bitin.io campaign is probably the hardest one to manage on this forum

I don't get what this post means. Are you offering to manage another campaign, or offering to let someone else manage the 777Coin one?

What does managing a campaign entail? You ensure that people meet the desired post count without changing their signatures, and ensure that payment is confirmed? What else do you have to do?

That's what I said. I would like to do that work for someone. Not all gambling site admins are free enough to check posts and all that.

So you're trying to figure out what you'd have to do, by posting this thread? :o

Mr. Senior, your response here did not address my questions at all. All you stated was "That's what I said" when I was asking what being a signature campaign manager entails. So there's no need to bring title into this.

Anyways thanks for calling me Mr. Senior. I like it when someone calls me so.

The amount of work required is proportional to the number of participants. Probably the most important part are the payments, as you are taking responsibility for someone elses money and performing a large number of transactions every month, so if by any chance you make a mistake, you'll be paying for that with your own cash.
I once had over 50 payments to make in one day, got distracted and sent one guy like 10 times more than I should have, luckily he turned out to be an honest person and sent back the rest. :)
But I agree, no skill is required just time and time is money  8)

I already am managing 777Coin signature campaign sir, as you can see in my posts or in the Services board. But yeah, it has only 20 participants as of now and actually its a tiresome work rather than difficult work. But sir, I must say, gawminers campaign that you run and LuckyBit's campaign by stingleword are one of the best campaigns out there.  :) :) :)

Apart from the escrow piece, most of the work involved is fairly easy and doesn't require too much trust

Actually, the 777Coin signature campaign payout address is totally under my control and I pay everyone on time (rather before time because of time zone problems :P). I love being trustworthy. But I offer people a chance to use escrow if they dont want to trust this senior member. :P

It's a good way to prove trustworthiness, I suppose. Have you gotten any offers from new campaigns?

How much are you asking if someone wants your service to manage a certain sig campaign?

Are you looking for someone to manage one? He said in his OP that interested parties send him a PM to discuss details

Actually, I received an order from the user CLOUDMINR.IO that he wants me to handle the sign campaign. But he created a thread himself with low rates even after I suggested the best rates. And you can find the thread there on the services board. As of now, that is at the time of posting this message there are no participants in the campaign even after the money was escrowed to the highly trusted devthedev.

Up to .4 BTC a month is ~$140, which isn't too bad, is it?
