The only thing I can suggest is to try and broker a private deal. Private deals can be risky though. If you are in dire need of the funds, you might have to bite the bullet and sell through an exchange. You might try spreading it around to all available exchanges and start off slowly and see what happens. Sometimes the increased volume your sale creates will spur others to buy. It's worth a shot. On the other hand another good way to sell coin would be bitcoin-otc but make sure you read up carefully as its loaded with imposters and con-artists.
