Well it's not joke anymore, it's one of the biggest market cap alts out there.

When it came out I was looking at it as a prank which it was, but it's amazing that it is now one of the biggest alts.

Lots of upside left to my mind. Still the best crypto community by far. But volatility will be high going forward. Worth a small allocation for sure.

Doge is a good beginning step into crypto.  That's what got me started almost a year ago.  Since then I have branched out, but I owe my introduction to that community and coin.

Well, at first I though its a joke coin but now it seems to be bigger then most alt, so nah I think its a cool coin...

Among PoW cryptos Dogecoin has the biggest potential, yes, even Bitcoin is behind in that regard. But because all cryptos are in a bear market now, this potential hasn't been realized yet.

i just wanted to say the exact thing.

but in all seriousness in my opinion, i think i is going to grow whether in its price or in acceptance by the people. i liked the community so far it is fun and i am buying, gathering and holding for now. and spending a little bit on tipping on reddit for fun

It's almost a year old now, so it's standing up to the test of time.

Seriously though. It has survived now for nearly a year, it has a great community and many well recognised people in crypto have contributed to it. Doge is bound to take Litecoin's place in terms of Market Cap at some point. Also it is about the only coin, that brings a more light hearted attitude, something some of us in the more serious crypto communities can definitely learn from.

I might buy when it hits 20-30 again.  DOGE will always be here, but there isn't a lot of money to be made off it.  I wouldn't buy unless I got it really cheap.

I like doge coins. It was the 1st crypto I ever really knew about until recently.  8)

Same for me. Doge is a good coin and had a active community so I don't think it will die off. If it get to 25 sat I'll scoop some up

This is a perfect coin. its something that would make satoshi proud. it is showing no sign of stop spreading all over the world.

it started as a joke but it matured to a coin that is being used more properly then any other coin.

Very true, Doge is here to stay, although you can probably buy it at a little lower price this year.

Doge will be here much longer than You think. Current value is not important - this coin is much better than litecoin.

Hard to say whether Doge is actually popular anymore.  Doge Reddit is kind of slow these days.  It could just be the whales and big bots trading back and forth which is keeping Shibe alive.  Shibe is on lifesupport?  If somebody accidentally trips over the plug then maybe Shibe will go.   :D

Perhaps the hype will come back when the alt coin bear market is over. If bitcoin goes up I expect doge coin will too.

Agree, the market is pretty bearish for all coins. DOGE will come back when the market comes back as a whole.

Doge may come back sooner. First it has a very low start, second its inflation rate will be tiny in a couple of months compared to other PoW coins.

Dogecoin is the crypto with the most awesome community.

(That also makes it a good target for advertising and such.)


I am not sure if the inflation idea is actually good or bad, we will know that in about a year from now.
