Title: Re: Rockminer R-box Help Post by: guitarplinker on November 09, 2014, 09:44:22 PM ok I keep getting error 404 not found :( Try copying and pasting this exact command, without the quotations to download BFGMiner 4.6.0: "sudo wget http://luke.dashjr.org/programs/bitcoin/files/bfgminer/4.6.0/bfgminer-4.6.0.txz" Title: Re: Rockminer R-box Help Post by: xsamx1987 on November 09, 2014, 09:56:05 PM thanks that worked :) now step 6 I type in sudo tar -xvf bfgminer-4.2.0.txz and I get no such file or directory.
Title: Re: Rockminer R-box Help Post by: guitarplinker on November 09, 2014, 09:58:17 PM thanks that worked :) now step 6 I type in sudo tar -xvf bfgminer-4.2.0.txz and I get no such file or directory. OK try typing the following without quotations: "sudo tar -xvf bfgminer-4.6.0.txz" Title: Re: Rockminer R-box Help Post by: xsamx1987 on November 09, 2014, 10:06:47 PM step 7 same thing I typed in cd bfgminer-4.2.0 so I put a / and that worked I think and now step 8 isn't working sudo ./configure command not found :(
Title: Re: Rockminer R-box Help Post by: guitarplinker on November 09, 2014, 10:09:25 PM You have to type bfgminer-4.6.0 instead of 4.2.0 for these commands.
Try typing this command without quotations: "cd -" Then continue from Step 7 again, except wherever the guide uses 4.2.0, use 4.6.0 instead and it should work. Should take about a half hour or so to finish the guide then if you just started to compile. :)Title: Re: Rockminer R-box Help Post by: xsamx1987 on November 09, 2014, 10:40:10 PM ok im near the end now step 11 I type in cp bfgminer /opt/minepeon/bin and it says some thing about a txt file or some thing being busy is it important ?
Title: Re: Rockminer R-box Help Post by: guitarplinker on November 09, 2014, 10:43:56 PM Does it stop the process when the text file is busy or continue on? I don't think it should matter much.
Title: Re: Rockminer R-box Help Post by: xsamx1987 on November 09, 2014, 11:12:31 PM its ok its working now so I did a reboot now ive gone in to the web gui and it no longer shows a BFG ver so does that mean it installed or not ?
