Title: 3D Printing Metal Bitcoins - Kinda Vool Post by: Rob768 on November 09, 2014, 06:21:27 PM Thought this was cool. They use a regular $1400 3D printer to print out actual bronze coins which look like Bitcoins. Of course they have no value but I'd take one for a few bucks:

I don't have a 3D printer but this filament looks interesting. The final print still look plastic though. It would be great it it takes more of a shine.
Affordable 3D printing with metal isn't far off: http://techcrunch.com/2014/07/18/matterfab/ |
