Russia's on the right track with their laws against this nonsense. The "LGBT' crowd's so screwed up, it's a wonder even they can figure out what they are. It gets down to what "gender" they identify with today, I guess.

From the article, it appears that the transwoman is pre-op. It is likely considered a "gay" marriage because she changed her name and declared sex* already. Not all transgendered people actually get surgery.

In any case I would consider it a gay marriage since a name change and a declared sex change was done if not the surgery.
In theory they could still have babies through intercourse so biologically it could be seen as a straight marriage (man and woman) but that's beside the point.

It is my understanding that the hormones prevent that.

From that the result of hormone therapy is it just shuts down the sex organs function making it effectively sterile/infertile.
I always thought that to be transgender and female they removed the testicles and then sowed it up again in effect changing the gender, not this alternative approach (hormone therapy)
