So I'm quite taken aback by the loud fan noise generated by the stock SP20 fans, was all along thinking it would be comparable in terms of noise to the S3 series. Has anybody managed to replace their SP20 fan to something which solves the noise problem? Any known models/plugs/settings to take note of? I reallllllly need to get the fan issue solved if not the miner is just going to be switched off. Looks like I have to reassess my definition of "home mining". Good news is that the unit doesn't care if there is a fan plugged into the header. I've currently got two Coolermaster Jetflo 100CFM fans powered from the PSU, one replacing the internal fan and one on the outside pushing air in at the back.
