Title: Shadow Forked?
Post by: TrangLee on November 11, 2014, 06:47:58 PM
I'm hearing stories and reports of wallet issues and small forks in SDC? If you have any of these issues please post in here.  :-\

I thought it was just mine but guess not. My wallet won't sync up. It was staking before too  then stopped and became unsynced. Hopefully when it syncs again I am not out all my 18000 sdc.  :(  Gonna try and delete all including a wallet.dat and see if that will help.

What are small forks? Either it is a fork or not.

DO NOT DELETE your wallet.dat. If you have problems come to the #shadowcash irc channel on free node or go to the shadowcash ann thread.

How many stories? 2?
A fork requires more than 1 person to be on that blockhash.
Anything else is just a connection issue.

I've been able to fix every problem I have encountered with the SDC wallet and most of the issues are caused by connectivity problems and node blacklisting.

I've had more issues with other coin's wallets to be honest.

Actually I like the coin and the work its dev does. I don't like the bully troll bagholders that are in it. I like the regular members of the community as well. I actually own some SDC along with a lot of other coins.

Never understood the excitement around SDC - seems to have good tech and solid team, but price goes nowhere. Just going in circles.

All true but they have way overactive fan boy trolls the often go into other coins and troll real bad and give the coin a bad rep.

Well, at least it's good for short-term swing trades.

That's the main reason why I left that community. Very abrasive and hostile to anyone and everyone that didn't blow their horn. I also really didnt like when certain members (like 5-6 guys) decide they "need" to go into other coins and fud and destroy it because it may steal some perceived thunder from SDC. Sooner or later they will figure out the most people including investors don't like bullies and smear campaigns and that it turns them off from the coin. Even their own dev hates that. He has stated a few times he want s to work with other coins and projects but is forced to to stay out of things like Bocknet and mergers and also not allowed opensource his code for others to use buy these few people.

Yep.  Screw SDC and their trolling childish behavior.  If you ask me, anything negative that happens to that coin is just karma.

Funny thing in that last post it says "Accept the the light of Shadow" Isn't that a paradox? Shadows don't cast light in fact they are an absence of light. Just saying.
