Title: [fixed] Just plugged in a 5770, have a major issue. Post by: Tittiez on June 05, 2012, 03:47:35 PM Just got a 5770, plug it in with a 1x to 16x adapter, and boot up my computer. Well its fucked up.
Its being read as a "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter" GPU-Z: https://i.imgur.com/XgJ1G.png 4294967295 MB, wut I also have a 6850 hooked up, and its read and works fine. I'm using Catalyst 12.1, and have SDK 2.5 installed. Edit: I started Caps viewer to see if it read it correctly, and it can at least tell its a 5770. https://i.imgur.com/juJZi.png A little help please? :P Title: Re: Just plugged in a 5770, have a major issue. Post by: TheHarbinger on June 05, 2012, 04:09:48 PM It's a different series card. So until you install the AMD driver for it, it will just be listed a standard VGA adapter. Do a reinstall of catalyst and let it install the driver for your new card.
