Title: GUIMiner help
Post by: AJRools on November 14, 2014, 12:24:45 AM
I need help. I have just downloaded GUIMiner on my self built gaming pc and joined slush's mining pool. I get 350MHash/s. My issue is, how do i add it to my bitcoin balance using guiminer?

You will get your BTC to your wallet when slush's pool mine a block. Try check that the address in slush's pool profile is yours. :)

not that youll reach the cashout limit in the next 5 or so years XD. people seem to have missed the last year or so. CPU and GPU mining are both dead. for example you can buy an ASIC miner block erupter that runs on a USB port that can match you hashrate.

I know it's dead. When i built my own pc I wasn't necessarily looking into btc mining. I will use my gpu/cpu until i earn .1 Btc then use that to buy a 2 GH/s Usb Asic miner.

I suggest you to buy Hashes from cloud mining sites rather than buying 2 GHs miner.

P.S. In one month you will make ~$0.05 with no electricity fee and pool fee. So I kindly request you not to mine. :) :'( :-\

I'm now mining in f2pool, would that help at all? I already have one accepted, whatever that means.

Worker   Currency   20-min Hashrate   Accepted   Rejected      Last Share
joedom301.worker1   BTC    0.0 Ghash/s   1   0   0.0%   2014-11-16 11:47

^^
what it says on the workers portion of the website.

No, of-course not. Try to mine in Eobot. It is better for low Hashrate. Download their software and enter your email address you used for eobot account. You can start mining. :)

P.S. Congrats for that share! :)

What does the share do? And what does Eobot do?

P.S. When I use the GUIMiner, it says I have shares accepted. I get a share about every 20 seconds. I dont think that's too bad at all, is it?

The share that you have generated is meaningless. Again, you won't make anything at all.

If you really want to mine with GPU, you should change to different algorithms. Just stop mining SHA-256 and start mining one of these algos: X11,X13,X15, NIST5...

Eobot does the same thing but not like other pools. It calculates in a different way than other pools calculate.
