Title: Beware of 7bit.com
Post by: komakino on November 14, 2014, 03:36:12 PM
I thought to try my luck using bitcoin so I deposited 0.4 btc to 7bit.com

There is a rule that says that a withdraw is allowed after you play 30 times the deposit amount…which I did not see..until after I requested one.

Yeap…I made that mistake…I requested a withdraw of 0.2 btc.
The amount was removed from my balance and of course I did not receive it to the address I entered.

I saw the rule afterwards…so I thought.."What the heck, it was my mistake not seeing that before."
I don't have an issue with that..it's their field, they can set their own rules.

But…the amount was removed from my balance and never restored.
I contacted them twice to inform them about my issue but no reply.
It's been almost 10 days from my first email and 3 days from my last email.

What's your experience with 7bit?

Even the rule that you have to play your deposit amount 30 times is a bad manner in my opinion.

But the decrease of your balance without a real withdraw is a scam.

I don't know much about the site but I think you should look up others experiences of a gambling site before depositing.

Did you claim that 50% deposit bonus, which appears to be opt-in and says:

Quote
Simply make a deposit of 200mBTC or more and you will be entitled to a 50% bonus on your qualifying deposit up to a maximum of 2000mBTC. Please note you will need to play through your deposit and bonus 30 times prior to making a withdrawal. Other terms apply.

or did they apply the restriction to your account, without you claiming that bonus?

Bonus for all first time players! Simply make a deposit of 200mBTC or more and you will be entitled to a 50% bonus on your qualifying deposit up to a maximum of 2000mBTC. Please note you will need to play through your deposit and bonus 30 times prior to making a withdrawal. Other terms apply.

I think you claimed the bonus ??? I am not sure what really happened, hence I am not sure whether they cheated you or not.

I don't see any valid reason why you would need to play through your deposit even once in order to request a withdrawal. IMO this would only prevent someone from depositing, then making a few lucky bets and then deciding to stop gambling after they are up a little bit. Playing through a user's deposit many times (30 in this case) would cause the player to have luck that is closer to the "house edge" then they might otherwise have.

Thank you for the replies!

That rule sucks! If I had noticed it I wouldn't make a deposit in the first place.
My mistake though!
I got excited because I wanted to play baccarat with live dealers and I checked their alexa ranking before depositing.
65.403 global ranking and 2.980 in Japan..that's big!
So I thought that they were not scam and proceed with the deposit.

I haven't claimed the bonus yet, I was about to but then I got this issue.
The fact that they don't reply to my emails gives me no hopes though.
