This is unique situation when merchant not just accepts BTC/cryptos but gives advantage to those who pay with it.

It is not only attracting the  bitcoiners but also the new users who will buy bitcoin. It is also a big propaganda for the hotel.

whats unique in this deal is - if you pay with BTC you actualy pay way less than with FIAT.

its not usual merchant-payment mode but actually advantage to use BTC/alts in expensive hotel

Hotels tend to charge very little in Puna Cana any way and I would think they are running at less then full capacity. I think the discount is really a promotional tool and probably would not last through only the "on season" when rates are higher and the rooms are used at a higher capacity.

I don't know much about Punta Canta but it still is a nice marketing gesture
That said the Hard Rock brand is a popular name so its nice to see even one of their hotels offering a crypto deal ^^

Just seeing companies even put up a Bitcoin payment button is more than enough for me, doesn't matter what reasons they have for doing it, I want to see cryptocurrencies grow.

well they give discount over FIAT to use BTC there, so its not just merchant accepting BTC but giving us a bonus - not that usual in this world YET!

impressive that the EXCL dev was able to land a deal like this. It's things like this that will stat helping move crypto to mainstream and more widely accepted. Nice work man.

Merchants avoid fees with BTC so its nice that they offer a bonus for using them.

Well I would like to see more merchants offer bitcoin as a payment method when there is a strong demand for their product
