Post by: gizamoney on November 17, 2014, 02:59:38 PM
i used bitcoinlaundry.com last night to mix. I still have not received my bitcoins at my destination address in the darkweb. Did i get scammed or am i being impatient? its been about 18 hours.

I just received my bitcoins in my destination address.  Thank you for resolving this Mr. Gogulski.  Bitcoinlaundry is legit.

Never heard of them, not even once, so probably you got scammed.
You are suspicious, this can be advertisement because you have 0 posts.

How can this be an advertisement if I'm asking for help?  i just signed up on here after i haven't received my bit coins and was wondering if someone else has had the same problem. some guy named Mike Gogulski runs it and seems to be legit so idk what the problem is

No idea if the thread was an ad or not, but I suggest you to use bitmixer.io next time.
The site looks more professional, the service is more popular, and it charges you a much lower fee.

Don't use the unknown or unreviewed sites. Before using any of them, come here and ask about it or else, you will be scammed like now.

You're welcome.

Your ignorance speaks loudly. I've operated bitcoinlaundry.com and bitlaundry.com since early 2011. 3 seconds of googling would have shown you that, but it's so much easier to sling shit.

I've been waiting 48 hours now and I'm concerned - anyone else used this recently and where is Mike!?

OP says that he received his BTC after a while now. But the support of this site seems to be horrible.

i suggest every time you want to use a service read about it in reviews, you can find services topics in this forum, they have ANN threads and you can see peoples feedback

Isn't this the service run by morality? If so then it is a known scam site that stole several thousand dollars worth of Bitcoin

Edit: no it's not but like it is said above you need to do your research before sending your money to a random site.

Oh so this isn't first case, i myself have seen another one. I've never heard of bitcoinlaundry so you probably got scammed.
Why not search about their reputation prior using them?

you are too brave to send your coins to unknown/unproven service
there are some trustworthy mixing services out there, and it's better if you googling first before send your money away
hope you learned this lesson

But let's not just leave it on that stage. If OP won't confirm he got his coins then someone more reputable should look into it and maybe post an scam accusation.

Most people having trouble with bitcoinlaundry.com are either a) having trouble following directions ("send EXACTLY BTC <amount>") or b) sending from a wallet that subtracts the fee from the total send rather than adding it.

I'm sorting this out in private.

I have a suggestion for the bitlaundry.com site. It would be FAR easier if we could enter the TOTAL amount of Bitcoins we have to send, and then the site reports back that for that amount we will receive X coins back. Then we confirm. That's the inverse of how it works now, which is that we know how many Btc we have, then we start fiddling with your site's calculation windows, trying more and more decimals to get as close as we can to what we can afford to send, net fees, until after several tries we come to a pretty close number and then send.

...

I have used bitmixer.io (http://bitmixer.io) many times for around a 0.65% - 0.8% fee.  I advertise for them because they have come through every time (but am not affiliated with them other than being a customer and receiving my BTC0.0007 per post).  bitmixer allows you to get your mixed coins within about 5 - 10 minutes after the first confirmation of your payment to them (amounts up to $2000 or whatever, their website advises that they take longer for LARGE amounts of BTC).  They also allow you to use a time delay as well as to send to more than one wallet at a time (which if you are very concerned re privacy is a plus).

I have also used blockchain.info (http://blockchain.info)'s SharedCoin service many times (similar fees).

I would be very interested in reading other comments from users of bitcoinlaundry.com.

bitcoinlaundery has bitmixer as a very tough competitor...
