I was contacted by one of the organisers of this conference and asked to find someone to present a talk about bitcoin. There is the possibility to network with an impressive group of visionaries including the main organiser Douglas Rushkoff . The conference is in New York on October 20 with registration by july 1 with a $299 fee. I will pledge 5 btc ($40) towards the cost and will escrow the funds for whoever decides to attend so we have a month and a half to cover the rest and to find someone who is capable of attending for the day. I'm a Toastmasters champion and have been looking for some venues for bitcoin speaking. Can you put me in touch with them or shall I do it myself?
