Verify if gift cards are legitimate by viewing a scanned receipt. Your receipt will indicate date, amount, and cash payment. Only buy gift cards purchased with cash so you know that they were not purchased via stolen cc. Gift cards purchased via stolen cc are subject to being inactivated.
