You appear to not know how percentage of supply premines are wrong for PoW coins. The problem is not that the premine is "huge" over the long term, it's that the entire supply of which your premine is a percent of will take years to even be a significant percent of the total theoretical supply.

If you want to ensure you own a constant supply of a coin, instead of doing a straight 2% premine, you should instead do a pay-per-block type funding, where you get a percent of each block reward.

btw, yes, 2% is still quite excessive for a long-term PoW coin

Just my opinion but I think when the dev was forced to get rid of the pre-mine, he/they lost interest in the coin.

I guess so, takes away any incentive to make the coin work.

Is it offline again?

As $$$ is almost over a year old, I was wondering how many coins we have in total now and what the current block reward is.

The block reward is pretty vague for this coin as it is supposed to decrease by 1% a week after block 600,000 with a starting value of 64$$$ per block.

Looking at the original Github, I can see in the main.ccp (https://github.com/moneyfoundation/money/blob/master-0.8/src/main.cpp) file that the actual amount of blocks the reward changes is 20160. Putting the numbers in an excel gets me a current block reward (at block 886558) of 55.04 and a total amount of coins of  56,034,723



I'm not sure how low the block reward can get (either not below 32 or 1), but assuming a continued block reward decrease of 1% per week, the total amount of coins is really difficult to get to. I put it in a graph to show how it levels of at around 160 mln coins:


Anybody knows what the minimum block reward is? This will make a huge difference to the total amount of coins that can be reached.

will the coins that i mined before i synced my wallet get confirmed? it's unconfirmed status right now

If you mean you mined as your wallet was syncing, any blocks your client found will have forked from the main chain, and should show up as orphans.

If you mean you have to resync from scratch with a wallet that has previously mined funds, then yes, the transactions will become valid once the sync passes the blocks you mined.

I mined before any syncing started, it got confirmed and it showed up on my balance but once I entered some nodes and it started syncing balance is 0 and coins is now unconfirmed. now synced with the network no record of the mined coins in transaction and coins are unconfirmed. I will just have to wait and see most likely.

That's your problem then, you need to mine when you're fully synced so that you're only adding to the end of the blockchain. If you try to insert a block earlier, it will be quickly orphaned as you sync and the consensus (the blockchain) overrides it.

Generally clients will reject mining attempts if they're still doing an initial sync, so not sure how you managed to find blocks.

$$$ was just delisted from Novaexchange. So even if the exchange stays open it's probably going to cost a fair bit to re-list the coin. It's been left too late.

edit: It's still listed at Cryptopia and has some kind of decent, well at least not dead, trading volume (0.3 BTC in 24h)

Windows wallet making my AV scream bloody murder.  Anyone have a windows wallet that does not set off AV alarms.  The windows wallet from page one does NOT work.

It's a false positive. I'm using this wallet for a long time without problem.

Anyone else who can chime in on the Virus screeming windows wallet.  On other posts, I've read people installed so call "false positive AV screaming" wallets and late to find out all their coins come up missing later down the road. 

I don't know for other but me i never lost my coin. A lot of wallet have the same AV alert but there is no problem in fact. This wallet work fine since 2014 and we could know if something is wrong. isnt'it ?
